You’re right. Getting the best pics requires you take a lot. Though ACAs are quite photogenic and don’t require too much coaxing. You’ll get to know your stones and will be able to catch lots of fire I’m sure. The side stones on my ring are my first ering from 26 years ago before super ideal was a thing and the other is an Expert Selection which fell out of the ACA parameters by a little. My journey to ACAs was a long one. I wished I had listened to people earlier on. I would have saved a ton of money. I first bought GIA 3x stones and I would always find some persistently dark areas (even tho I always bought VS1 and above and G-D), which I later discovered was due to light leakage. It bugged me so much. I kept looking at better and better cut stones until I realized I that needed absolutely zero light leakage. And when I chose my ACA I finally achieved it. Other than the arrows there is no leakage. My report is an older one so it is a zero in cut, light, polish and symmetry. Those must be the four parameters that you refer to.🥰 thank you!
Wow you caught some fire in your ring! Its gorgeous!❤️
I love taking pictures but it takes time and patience to get your diamonds to behave and pose correctly!
So glad you asked for pixs maybe it with motivate me to do just that sooner than later.
I will share after I get some pixs maybe a nice short video too of them with their fiery smiles![]()
Is your other two diamonds on the sides ACA too? Did you go with all 4 categories Ideal or categories Ideal with three excellent? I don’t know what is the correct word describing the word..categories.
You are so right! Trying to get a picture of my ear through a mirror holding my iPhone was such a challenge. My arms and body was all twistedYou’re right. You are doing it correctly ❤️ because that’s how my SA put my two stones on her hand without the setting to show me them in a still and video shot. You are so funny! Don’t give yourself an arm ache! You can take pics when the studs are in your hands. And it will be super hard to catch fire pics while they are on your ears because the diamonds are vertically facing. They don’t catch light directly on the table the way they do when they are on your finger. When I am comparing diamond pics I put them on my hand between the fingers and slowly tilt my hand in various directions. And if you want to clean, warm water, dishwashing liquid and a soft tooth brush is all you need. Below is a pic of how I compare various stones at once.
Thank you so much! The perlee sweet clover is my most favorite jewelry piece!Lovely pictures, this is one of my favorite van cleef pieces!
Thank you for these gorgeous pics and the terrific video. I love seeing the arrows winking at me. The studs are absolutely perfect with your onyx sweets. Isn’t so gratifying to wear a piece of jewelry so much? It makes you feel like you made a great jewelry decision. My Perlee Sweet Clover is still my most special piece of jewelry
After purchasing my onyx and diamond studs, I love my onyx studs more than my onyx bracelet and onyx pendant. I have been wearing my onyx studs 24/7 and no change in their appearance. I know if I get to be an unlucky one and they end up showing wear I will just have to replace my onyx sweets.
I am so enjoying both on my ears 24/7 makes them extra special to me.
They are shy of .60 points each. They are huge considering the room I have on my earlobe for both earrings!
Here is another shot of my new Whiteflash studs and a short video:
