Just got my Magic white MOP earrings! Was nervous they would be too OTT but love it much more than the vintage size
Still in love with my pave Frivole earrings. And not ready to take down the Christmas tree quite yet…
Beautiful set. I really want to add a pair of VA earrings to my collection. Do you ever feel the diamond earrings are too formal for everyday use?
I don't find them too formal personally. I work in a field where you still dress up at work, which helps, but I also wear them with jeans and a sweater (which is what I had on in the pic you quoted.)
Somehow the pave Frivole read a bit more formal to me, but even those I wear a lot as well. I think I just really like the bling!
What do you think about the 2 butterfly in WG pave and RG pink sapphire? I have just purchased but thinking of returning.
I am not sure when this would be worn, as too dressy for work, and not dangly enough for evening.
Also thinking about the cost? Is it worth it?
I can achieve a similar daytime look with pearls or diamond studs.

I think they are like the Zimmermann dresses of VCA styles, feminine, bold, dressy but not formal. I think they work well for any event that you would wear that type of attire to, as well as going out to dinner, a winery, a girls’-day/weekend, a romantic evening/weekend, a warm or tropical vacation, a concert, a play, most ballets unless very formal. I think they could be worn most of the time other than the two situations you mentioned (work or formal). I think they would even be fine for running errands, paired with jeans.

My absolute favorite earring size. Love it on you and am encouraged that perhaps I can get my hands on one as well in the near future
Exactly! I thought it would be too big too and they're not! I'm still toying with the idea of wearing them to work but I don't think twice about wearing them casually.
I would return if you don’t absolutely love them as they are very pricey. It sounds like the frivoles or lotus might suit your needs better. I love the butterfly earrings but I am considering getting another pair of frivoles instead as I find them very pricey and likely harder to wear depending on wardrobe and lifestyle (I mostly work and do activities with kids).
Does anyone have VA earrings in both hammered and guilloche gold? I am wearing almost only white gold jewelry but would like to add a pair of earrings in gold. Unfortunately there is not even a VCA store in my country so it will take some time until I will have the possibility to look myself but it would be great to know how these compare to each other.
