I have to say, when I first started with Hermes, I bought a pale pale blue, almost white, swift jige pm. I stopped wearing hand cream; I never carried ballpoint pens; I changed my habits. . . And I LOVED that bag. (All my changes were entirely worth it). It was also more durable than I thought it would be. I think H Spa will be able to clean this for you, so if you reslly love it, then go for it. Regarding color transfer, that is due to whether your items of clothing are colorsafe, and I would make sure that they are, rather than worry about the bag.
A Light gorgeous pop of near white is amazing to wear and makes you feel fabulous. If you have a clutch lifestyle, then simply carry the clutch in the one hand (that doesn’t touch other messy things, or between your arm and body. (Since Covid, I only wear semi permanent makeup (ombré tattoo brows and aquarelle lips), but even when I wore regular makeup, I almost never touched up once applied). I find this precaution works with all clutches. But, if you don’t have a clutch lifestyle, then pass. It would be a shame not to use this bag.
ETA: IMO light bags may discolor if stored and not used. So, it’s best for the bag to use and enjoy.
