Vert críquet mini Kelly with gold hardware - what do you all think? kind of falling in love with it, but wasn’t what I had originally imagined and so nervous to take plunge with it, since will likely mean no more H bags for a while and def no more MK offers for long time. Any one own this color/have thoughts/love it? Thought it would be a nice springtime green to go with pastels/florals. Was originally hoping for a more jewel tone/bright green though think this may actually match more.. thoughts? Thank you!

VC is a pretty green! If it works well with your wardrobe I think you should get it!

Hello, my brother was just offered a mini Constance bag in Craie. Previously, he was offered a mini Constance in Mauve Pale but he passed on that one since it was too cool tone. For the Craie color one, the SA didn't want to respond to my brother what hardware it has and prefers to answer all his questions in person instead of through email. He set an appointment with her anyway but just wondering, is this normal for a SA to not want to mention the hardware color? She didn't initially mention the color either until he emailed her back asking. Also, if he rejects the offer again this time, will it affect their "relationship?"
Sorry, I'm new to this so wanted to seek advice from everyone here for him haha. Thank you in advance!

That's kinda weird? Normally they share the specs before showing to prevent showing a bag to someone that will reject it..But if she doesn't want to share then she can't really blame him for turning it down if it is not to his liking

I would take it, always have a soft spot for mini kelly in “cute” color and vert criquet to me is a super duper cute color

Thank you for your insight! I thought I was the only one that thought it was weird. It's like why can't she just answer what hardware it is over email, especially he asked. He had mentioned to her that he prefers darker colors but she keeps offering him almost the palest colors available lol. I know right, hopefully she doesn't try to make him feel guilty or bad if he rejects her second offer.

I think it also has to do with the season. Since we are in spring summer it’s more likely they have the vibrant and pastel shades more vs the darker autumnal shades.

I do think some SAs enjoy the theatrics of pulling a “surprise” out of the box, especially if the client lives close to the store and the bag fits their wishlist perfectly :amuse:

I can’t think of a reason why she would dodge the question if he asked her point blank though. Unless it’s something suuuuuper special and she wants him to see it in person for the full effect? :panic:
