wish it wasn't epsom (as I do not like epsom Birkins) but it wouldn't stop me from snapping it up in this case as the color combo is fab
I generally haven't like tricolored Birkins but this iteration is surprisingly elegant! I'm not an epsom fan so that might give me pause but the colors are great.
Guys! After almost 2 years of waiting I finally got a call. I’m being offered mini kelly in epsom, gris pale, ghw. Now, I was hoping for a black one, I don’t wear light colours, I’m mainly black bag person. Does anyone had same situation and agreed the buy a light colour bag? I’m super worried that I won’t wear it enough and the colour transfer will kill me😆
Omg!!! I am soooo DONE- with black bags…imo- the Mk is such a unique bag, that if you are a fan of black, a MK in Gris pale would act as the polar opposite on the “neutrals” spectrum! Color transfer…only you can decide on your comfort level there, but as far as a non black bag option for a black bag devoteee- I say you have an amazing option!

Usually I loath multicolor bags (sorry) but this combo is just spot on! The craftsperson knew what they were doing- and this is just LOVELY! And looks great with what you are wearing now!!!

Super exciting! I have this exact bag and please trust - it's much more wearable than you think.
I have a MK II and it’s high enough when worn crossbody that there isn’t any issue of color transfer.
I have a craie epsom fell cavalleria that is beyond durable. It’s survived curry being dropped on it and a host of other issues and is completely unscathed
If you love the combo color and HW, I think this is an absolute yes.
Color transfer is a result of dark denim not being color safe. If you take steps on that acct, you should not fear
That is such a tough situation. MK is such a hard offer to get... but it is opposite of what you want and wear. Maybe you should go into the store to see the bag and express these concerns to your SA. See what they say.... they could say well, it's all that we have. OR they could say, pass on bag and I will get you another one but can't promise when. Then make your decision based on that. That is what I would do. I would def go into store to see it first before saying yes/no & get a feel for the possibility of loving this color or getting another color...

I did accept it. I was adamant I wouldn’t like it but it’s more muted than I thought it would be. Definitely a tinge of grey to it.
The leather SA said I couldn’t create a new wish because they have too many people requesting bags. I’ll give it a few weeks and hope that SA isn’t there when I go.
Take it! Its neutral enough and 2 years wait is too long. Its a beautiful MK combo. H can fix the bag if something happen to it. i just got my old 17 years old epsom white kelly with lots of yellowing stains on it back from spa and 95% gone and looks good again.
