Very true! I think the bag in itself absolutely suits ghw. It does tick off one of my wishes which was a touch bag (I was open to greys, black, browns and all hardwares), but it doesn’t tick off the grey with PHW wish at the same time. I will give it some more thought!

I don’t know where is your home store, but it has happened to me 5 times to be offered a bag in the wrong hardware, turned it down, and got the same offer few days later in the desired combo. I think they make batches of bags in the same colour and maybe different hardware? It has happened with B25 Rose Azalee, B30 Bleu Nuit, B30 Bleu Paon, B25 Vert Verone and K25 Rouge Sellier!

So happy to hear that! I did inquire about a palladium version, and he said they’re not expecting another like it and that they rarely get any touch especially in light neutrals. My SA is the store manager so he usually will know if they do. But I have mentioned it and will be going in to see it in two weeks so we will see. It’s a small store and the only one in the country. They even took a pic of it next to a bag in Beton for me which was so helpful. I’ml add some pics, but I’m leaning towards yes.

So happy to hear that! I did inquire about a palladium version, and he said they’re not expecting another like it and that they rarely get any touch especially in light neutrals. My SA is the store manager so he usually will know if they do. But I have mentioned it and will be going in to see it in two weeks so we will see. It’s a small store and the only one in the country. They even took a pic of it next to a bag in Beton for me which was so helpful. I’ml add some pics, but I’m leaning towards yes.

Oh man...thats hard.....Gris perle birkin touch....delicious......but I love love love gold hardware....Would I decline if it was palladium?? hard to say....to me hardware might be even more important than the color of the bag.......I might say no if my heart was set on a specific hardware....but Im a patient person...I think you can't go wrong either way...congrats!

I hate the “only one in the country” line. lol It’s so used car salesman-y that it would instantly make me feel like they were trying to sucker me into a purchase. When stores get a quota bag, they sell it basically immediately. That doesn’t mean that another store won’t have one in their delivery tomorrow, or next week, or sold one yesterday etc.

This is beautiful! I was nuts and turned down a beton touch with phw last year.. i asked my sa about another touch this year and they said they haven’t seen any coming with phw lately i Think that’s a beautiful combo, but if you’ll forever want gray with phw maybe wait?

I have a very good mix of all kinds of hardware, so I’m not against the ghw at all. I think I got a little caught up in the fact that this one bag very nearly filled two wishes in a way! I do have an appointment to place another wish as well so I may just put a down etoupe Kelly with palladium then…

It is a beautiful bag! I'd take it if I was i your position. But you can ask yourself this too: If I am never offered something like this again, is it going to be okay with me? If you answer YES, then don't purchase this one.
