Ewph. That's a tough decision. I agree that 25 would probably look better on your frame. And depending on your ability to tolerate scratches/marks/stains, Barenia is a tough leather to keep prestine. I would have a really hard time with that leather, especially as my first/only Birkin.... Not sure what happens if you are offered a bag on a "wishlist" system and turn it down? Are you in Europe? Sorry, I can't help more. I (personally) would ask for something else though... I don't like ebene nor would I want Barenia F. (((probably an unpopular opinion haha)))

This is exactly my thoughts, because it’s potentially my first Birkin i was wanting something i could wear everyday and be durable against scratches or marks.
Also the size and colour not really my first initial choice to🤣 love the Hermes game😂!
However absolute stunning bag and spec, a true classic.
In UK (my store) it wont affect if i knock back, this has happened previous with a kelly i declined then i received my wish🤎. However the stock inventory isn't as vast as its smaller but they do try and please their customers as much as they can hence the offer even tho quite off x
Congratulations on your offer! I personally would go and have a look if convenient. For me it's almost always an immediate yes or no.
It's a special leather but not always right for everyone and you might feel truly it would be a great bag but not as your first, possibly also in a smaller size. I notice it's not exactly close to any of the colours you requested either. I would honestly say it's a lot to spend on a bag that is not perfect for you.

Wow! This is my first time hearing of this, and have never known that they issue a formal communication. So they actually send you an email notifying you of the specs for the exact bag (or ones of the bags) on your wishlist is available and being offered to you? And they give you the price and date they can hold it until (so they are no surprises!)
That is so amazing! I assume you are in the UK (based on English language in email)? I wish they did something like this in the US.

I know what you mean. I was offered a Ebene Smooth Barenia B25 and I declined only because of the colour. The right bag will find you and the first is always the most treasured. ❤️
I agree with others - don’t buy it if it’s not LOVE! I also agree that a 30 is big for someone your size. I am 5’10” and I think a 30 is ok for me but I am a small bag person.
Definitely, it needs to pull my heart strings as i love to wear my bags as much as possible❤️. Intrigued to check it out as who knows but my heart is pretty much set on a 25. It just baffles me how sometimes it can be so far from what you asked for😅but hey thats Hermes! Thank you x

Honestly I am baffled as to how people can need something as large as a B30. I just like how it looks but if I get one it will just have four things rattling around inside it.
LOL, I love both my BBB 30 and my Garden Party 30. It's nice to have something you can throw a bottle of water and a book in.
Hi, I'm 5ft 2 as well and didn't like the 25 on me, it looked too small. My SO was a 30 and I absolutely love it. the perfect size IMO for a forever bag. Berenia in ebene is very chic and especially on trend just now, if you see all the dark brown The Row bags. You'll know when you see it if you fall in love. Good luck!
