I think you have to see it IRL to know if it captures your heart. You were hoping a dark neutral 25B, but blue royal is definitely not in that category since it is a bright pop of color. That said, sometimes things you hadn't planned for really do surprise you in the best of ways, so keep an open mind and see what you think once you go to the boutique. It's a gorgeous color, but only you will know if it works for you! Good luck deciding!

Yes, it reminds me that I tried the B25 epsom in Noir last time but there was no spark between her and me sadly.

I think bleu royal is on the bright side, so it will be different from bleu nuit. No idea about deep blue though.
Blue royal will be great with jeans and whiteT in my opinion.
You will know when you see it.You can bring your deep blue with you so that you compare both colors.

I have a mini Kelly in blue royal with gold hardware and it is great for the summer. I wear a lot of denim and blue dresses so it goes well. It is especially great for beach vacations such as the Mediterranean. I think I purchased it because we were planning on a trip to Greece around that time. I didn’t want black because it felt like every influencer on Instagram has a black one but maybe I will change my mind one day. Personally I think blue royal is a great alternative to black.Thank you for the sweet reply!

I’m sorry but I vote turn it down. Last month I turned down a B25 Bleu de purse bc I already had a k28 box in blue gray and a Bleu de malte JPG kelly fringe. Had it been darker, I would have accepted, but I don’t need three mid range blue bags. The reason why I say turn it down is bc there is always the possibility that shortly after, your dream color , dream spec could come in. Good luck!

I’m seeing multiple mentions of accepting this offer because you are afraid that if you turn it down you will wait too long for another. This is IMO never a good enough reason to accept a not-perfect offer. Firstly this sends the wrong message to your SA/SM in terms of what bags you are willing to accept (ie not what you originally asked), so they are more likely to do the same again in the future thinking you are flexible about what you ask (when in reality you may not be). Secondly, if you do accept this bag now, and your actual dream bag comes by your store some time soon, there is basically now 0 chance you get offered that bag you actually want because you already accepted this one.
I would go take a look, and if you fall in love with the bag, to the level that you will not be sad that you missed the actual bag you asked for because you took this one, then say yes. If not, stay strong, re-iterate to your SA what you actually want, and be patient.
I think the suggestion to wear mainstay items from your wardrobe to your boutique visit s a really sound one. If you find yourself waltzing around the boutique thinking 'OMG, this bag is fabulous, it's so much better than the other blue bags in my closet' then consider your mind changed and go for it. If OTH you find yourself making internal arguments about why this blue is 'not so bad', 'maybe ok', 'might be my last offer for a while' I would suggest you pass. It's easy to get swept up in the excitement of an offer, given how rare they are these days but unpleasant to look at an expensive reminder of a mistake.

I have a B in Bleu Nuit too. Love them both. They are both blue but the Bleu Royal is definitely a pop of color and an attention grabber! For a more subtle and muted color and look though, the Bleu Nuit is the way to go.
