Yes! I got to try the bracelet on in the boutique recently and fell in LOVE. I agree, the necklace would be a massive splurge. Definitely not in my budget right now but it’s still on my wishlist, but gonna have to save a few years for that one!
I hope you manage to get one! I’m sure it’ll look great on you. It does get dirty quickly but I don’t baby mine, I’ve worn it 24/7 most days.

Happy early birthday! It’s beautiful that you have the malachite earrings in both the vintage and magic sizes, not to mention the other green dream pieces. Your approach of going all out on what you love really resonates with me.

Hello Everyone,
I’m new to this forum. I need expert advice from VCA collectors!

I recently purchased the 5 motif bracelet in Rock Crystal. Although I’m very happy to own it I’m on the fence because of the quality of the stone. My bracelet has a cloudy/milky stone not clear stone. I tried on a rock crystal bracelet in February 2024 which had very clear stone but I could not buy it because it was for another client. My SA was able to order another one for me and I picked it up on Sept 15th. I immediately noticed that the stones weren’t as clear as the bracelet I tried on back in Feb. My SA has assured me that the milky grain was normal for rock crystal but I still feel like it’s off. Before I take it back to VCA has anyone else experienced this?
I’ve attached photos. The first photo is of the bracelet I tried on in February but could not buy.
The second and third photo is of the bracelet I just bought.

Rock crystal has a range of transparency. I actually love the clear and the milky look. Yours is not very translucent. If you don’t love it ask your SA if she can exchange. You will likely need to wait awhile though as they come in the store in batches. Here are 4 stones all from different pieces. The bottom was more milky, though I think it is still a fair bit more translucent than yours.

Rock crystal is another name for colorless quartz. If you go to crystal shops and ask for colorless quartz you will see a variety of very clear to cloudy because of inclusions, so it's completely natural and normal.

However if you don't like it you can return it to the store, or have it exchanged if possible.

Thanks, it seems like clear is more rare than cloudy. I wouldn’t mind cloudy stone but it looks like a white stone when I wear it.
For me the beauty of the VCA rock crystal pieces is the transparency of the stone.

Very clear is quite challenging to source indeed for colorless quartz, especially in the amount that Alhambra bracelets and necklaces need, that's why you don't see VCA offering it publicly to all customers.
