Hi LarissaHK, since your bag was sent to HK directly, were you still able to do tax refund? If so, how? What was the fee charged for courier service and which courier company did they engage? Thanks.
I bought mine directly on a Wednesday after at around 3p.m. There are other choices also.
Here is my Birkin 35 Clemence Prune in compared with my friend's Birkin 40 Clemence Black.
She purposely flew over after she knew that I have managed to get a Birkin. When we went to FSH on Friday morning when the shop just opened, there was no Birkin at all. We met a friend too. We decide to come back to FSH at 2p.m after Chanel shopping, we still saw the friend there who was waiting in FSH all the while. She waited for about 4.5 hours. When we return at 2p.m there is still no sight of Birkin, we shop around in the shop, then we ask the Salesperson from the Jewellery department, he then brought us 2 Birkins 40 - gold & black to choose from. I think the shipment just arrived. When we went to the cashier, we saw the friend looking at Prune 35 Clemence, another customer looking at Black 35.
There are readily available Lindy and Evelyn in a few colours.

hi meowcsj, i need some help. im going to paris in nov and hope to get my birkin at FSH. did you just ask just any SA you saw at hermes? were they willing to take out the birkins?you think wednesday was a good day to get it? thanks...

you are welcome! I really don't think you will have any problem finding a Lindy in FSH unless you are looking for a specific leather and color! i love the Lindy 30 in matte havane croc

i am in paris right now, i was at FSH today but i didn't ask for birkin or kelly but i saw kelly on display and lots of lindy... i'm gonna go 2morrw to ask for birkin today i want to buy chanel jumbo but they were all gone so i guess i gotta go for H
I am struggling between rouge g & raisin in clemance. Matte havane croc is stunning but it is out of my budget. sigh..

my SA at George V was Charlotte Lepetre. I only mentioned her because when I couldn't find the item (a HAC 40) I want at George V, she took the initiative and called FSH for me and ask them to put it on hold for me. after getting the HAC 40 from FSH, i went back to George V and bought other stuff from Charlotte.
while FSH sales staff were nice (i had a young man named Paul), i do appreciate the gesture from a helpful staff. FSH gets so many tourists that you can easily be lost in the crowd but they do have a wider selections compared to George V.

my 40HAC is cafe in clemence taurillon. but i've seen an orange in amsterdam in june as well. i think 40HAC comes in all different colors and it is just a matter of what the store has ordered and in stock.
i think blueu de prusse would be really nice and a nice dark brown like ebene or chocolate would be beautiful!

there are a number of threads in this section about this - do a search about shopping in Paris. Delivery times differ but be there in the morning when they open (they might and might not have got a delivery) and they also might get a delivery in the afternoon.
