Beauty of a Blue Box bag!
This was a very, very early bag (in my collection) when Versos could only be ordered by SO and predated the “blue box” era. Blue box is a recent phenomenon denoting limited edition. This is a B35 Gris Mouette/Agate.

My first blue box! Constance Clouté - the third one I've seen on this thread (!) and I've been seeing it on display at FSH for a couple years now.
I was pretty sticker shocked at the price though...
Does anyone know why the know-how/craftsmanship is difficult such that this is priced over double a box constance ?
(epsom is 9K vs box 13K for constance).
I'd been wanting the MK clouté originally which I saw is 19K€/$26K but the constance is $30K

It's not just craftsmanship, though adding each stud is likely time and labor intensive, but it's also price of the hardware itself. H seems to exorbitantly increase the price for every ounce of hardware present. The Mini Kelly has ~117 studs while the constance has almost twice as many (~220).

Is it box, swift, or tadelakt leather? Is there any design on the reverse, or is the strap different as well?
Thank you! It’s tadelakt leather. Wood inlay just in the front. Nothing on back or strap.
