Still waiting for the real prize Black Beauty B to come galloping into my life...
in the meantime, was offered Beton RGHW C24. I have wrecked my brain but I feel it is too redundant & serves the same purpose w/ my wardrobe as my Trench Verso w/ RGHW. I finally declined =(

Hurts my heart to decline such an amazing piece though.

I only ask because Clemence on a birkin will give you a really slouchy look eventually. And box is a stiffer rigid hold its shape leather which in my mind are completely opposite.

Did you end up buying the raisin B?

Thanks! I am actually looking for a slouchier B this time around as my other two B30’s are box and VN. My delima is raisin or wait for black. I hope I know what to do when I see it bc I’m really torn right now and almost dreading going to see it.......if that makes any sense.

Go in as if your SA had both bags (you know what a black one looks like). Check the raisin out and make your decision. Until this one came up, you wanted the black, so unless this is better, you should probably stick to the black.

Picked her up last week and I’ve been using her non-stop ever since! I think this photo is a pretty accurate representation of how the colour reads in sunlight/bright light - it’s significantly darker indoors, though it still looks definitely dark blue (as opposed to black) to me. I’m going to do a group photo later with all my other H blues for comparison!

I have a raisin B and a black K. In my mind, raisin cannot sub for black and you will eventually still want black.

Thanks for the great advice. I was literally having stomach pains before leaving the house this morning. As soon as my SA unboxed her though it was love at first sight! I wore an olive green top, my absolute favorite color, and the raisin complimented it so well. It will go with so much else in my closet as well. I may still crave a black later on but for now I’m very satisfied and H Happy.

I went with my black and gold Chanel to compare. I also brought along a black sweater to try on with the raisin and they looked great together.

It does look like raisin is coming in bc there was another woman buying a raisin GP while I was there.

P.S. If the Toundra won’t be worn for a while and needs some fresh air, I’ll be happy to be a pal and do that for ya :graucho:

This raisin looks different from all the other raisins i have Seen. I’m wondering if it’s just the lighting. But it appears almost bluish purple with an etain- like undertone.. (gah i sound like an annoying wine person :facepalm:)

Curious what your thoughts are on this newer raisin vs older ones. Also when you have a chance could you take a picture if your new beauty in outside lighting?
