Oh this is a tough one. In my opinion, and these are all very subjective personal preferences but, C18 beats C24, black beats etoupe, PHW beats ghw, but Epsom beats evercalf. I’d pick the C18.
) I would lean towards C18 just because minis are maaaybe a little harder to come by (at least for now) with current trend / demand.
I love my 24. It fits everything I need. Epsom also is great. No babying required

Even though they are both Constance... they are totally different in terms of capacity. Which size is best suited for your needs? Decide that first.... both a gorgeous neutrals and will work with anyone's wardrobe. But size matters.
Congrats on both new purchases. What you have described is not common and should not be apparent, regardless of the colour, although some have noticed it recently with brand new bags.
Evercalf is delicate but the softness and the subtle sheen is very beautiful and lovely to touch. I do baby mine but it’s a piece that can last for years if you take care of it. It’s also one of the heritage leathers if you are into that
Wow this is tough. I have almost the same 2 specs. C18 Black Swift PHW and C24 Asphalt Epsom PHW. I use both, sometimes the 24 more for day and the 18 for evenings. It depends what I need to carry. I think only you can decide which is the best one for you. It sounds like neither ticks all boxes for you so perhaps wait for the perfect combination to show up?
