A little ray of sunshine! :sunshine:
So true ! The color makes me smile
Ohhhh, she must be gorgeous! Please post a pic! Congrats!
Hi Friend!! Will do !
Nice!!!! I soooo prefer JdN over JA.
I never realized Novillo was Clemence.
Well you may be right- the tag says Taurillion Novillo
So I assumed Clemence but may be incorrect on that assumption.
You would love this color!
It’s a cooler brighter yellow than the warmer Jaune Ambre yellow

Congrats on your beautiful JdN B!
Not to go off topic, but I think taurillion refers to bull calf leather (novillo, clemence, togo).

I’m still new to hermes, I would like to see it first (my appt is on Saturday) before I decide.
I would take a look too, because it depends on the batch of the leather I think. I have 3 B30s in Epsom: the “eldest” one is 3 years old, is perfectly fine, looking pretty and pristine as it was when I bought it. The “youngest” is also very good looking and seems to have the same kind of Epsom leather of the eldest one. However, I do have one getting a little bit creased and on the sides. The leather of this one looks more like plastic than the others. Despite the leather condition, they are much lighter than my Togo B30s.

Novillo and clemence are different leathers. Comparison shots (the Lindy and Evelyne are clemence. The Birkins are novillo.

Gorgeous bags dear.
I much prefer the appearance of novillo.
I have a clemence SO Birkin and honestly regret ordering this leather as it is heavy and bumpy.
How are you finding Novillo holding up? I imagine it is not delicate since it is a hearty leather type...

I like it a lot and would buy another bag in it. It has a sheen. It’s light weight. It doesn’t scratch. It doesn’t slouch.
The BE is from April 2018 and the Touch is from August 2018.
On the other hand, my daughter has a novillo toolbox which does slouch, but that’s a slouchy style and she is really hard on her bags.
Hope that helps.
(And thank you!)
