Is there any hard feeling when you pass on these offers? I cannot give my SA a wishlist because I like too many colors and it may be an extensive wish list. But I'm also in the camp of wanting to see them all and get the one that give me love-at-first-sight and I'm afraid that my SA will be mad if I turn down offers...

I think they expect you will turn down offers and I cannot imagine an SA would get “mad” about it. They want to please you and retain you as a long term customer.

I've had a difficult time with this because I don't want to ruin my relationship with my SA.. BUT I feel like in the end we are the customer and we shouldn't just give in because we got an offer... (Just my two cents after my first experience into the H hole that keeps on going lol. I regretted and returned my first B because after that "high" of getting my first offer, I realized it wasn't a bag I truly love or gives me that love at first sight kind of feeling... This forum has actually helped me be patient seeing a lot of TPFers turn down great offers waiting on the one they truly want. I honestly don't like playing this kind of game but if something comes my way blessed by the H fairy then I'll be grateful ♥️

first official week of 2nd half of the year and there was a huge delivery on July 3rd, great for those who decided to stay in town for the 4th!

K25 Sellier epsom Black/gold - passed as already own this bag
K25 Sellier epsom gold/palladium - passed as not my cup of tea
k25 Sellier epsom etain / palladium - passed as I prefer GHW with etain
B25 togo gold/palladium - passed as not my cup of tea
B25 togo etain/palladium - passed as already own this with RGHW

in addition to the above offered to me I also heard there were a few K28 and K32's landing in store, such as K28 Sellier epsom in black/gold and K32 in vert verone / gold (unsure of leather) !

Wow!! All your offered sounds amazing!! I have been waiting for a K25 since February this year :( as everyone told me K25 is really rare in neutral colors to show up...

Newbie here! Not sure to be in the right place to post this
At 42 I’ve finally decided to start my H journey.
I’m working on building a relationship with a new SA in Gstaad (Switzerland).
I have a good H history, buying most of the time silk, jewelry or shoes for more than 12 years.
Tomorrow I’m going to pick up a Collier de Chien bracelet and I have called my SA to tell her about my visit.
My plan is to try and let her know that I would like to purchase a Birkin 25 (a pink, bright red or yellow...)
I know that I might wait quite a long time before getting offered a dream bag but I am local so maybe luck will be with me soon

Any advice regarding the way to request a bag? Any big faux-pas to avoid?

Fingers crossed, I will let you know when I get something offered:yes:

My advice: Just ask for what you want! Put it out in the universe. Your SA is not a mind reader. What happens next is entirely up to her.
