I have the hudson and I really love it. It's so practical with the shoulder strap, and yet it still has a designer edge to it that's different from the other monogram bags. I get lots of compliments on my bag and find that I use this the most because it's so easy to use.

Both of these bags are expensive. I think you should compare side by side and try them on for size before making a decision.

I did compare them side by side over the weekend, but yet, I still can't decide:laugh:. The SA told me that if she were to pick either one of themn, she would pick the Manhattan since the Hudson has a big buckle like the Theda and it makes it very inconvenient to open it..oh well. But thanks for your advice and congrats to be the proud owner of Hudson;)

I agree. The Hudson is the one I always return to after a few days. I get compliments every time I use it. As far as the buckle and being able to get in and out easily - the first day or so I would look at the buckle when opening and closing it, now it's 2nd nature to open/close without looking and with one hand. Even a Speedy zipper takes two hands at certain angles.

Definatly the Manhattan PM. I almost bough this bag myself several times, then I ended up getting the MJ Blake bag which is very similar looking, so I decided that I didn't need both.

I want the Manhattan too! BUT I can't decide on which size, and I have the MJ venetia in bright pink. Is it too much overkill to get the same style in monogram and bright pink?
