abusive is a strong word but there are allegations he was very controlling. a lot of Spanish TV shows and articles came out on that. i know she says she gave up her career or she took a back seat to favor his and moved to Spain. but reports say it was his way always. his mother is a piece of work too.

to me controlling is a sort of abuse. No one should control you. i’m glad she broke free from that pr**k.

At first I thought that his expression was causing his forehead to look wrinkled but every photo I look at of him has the forehead wrinkles.

I think that if I didn’t really know much about him I would think that he is cute but after reading about him, he doesn’t seem attractive.

I am glad that Shakira is expressing her grief and anger through creativity and making money while doing it. I hope at some point she is able to find someone she can have long term happiness with.

there are reports he cheated with bar Rafael in 2012 and with his ex and countless other women ?
if journalist found out I am sure shakira knew. He cheated more than 50 times on her per reports

So definitely not good looking or sexy, those rumors really blur his looks to me
And wtf shakira what do you expect from a man child that you let cheat on you this many times? You had more kids with this a$$hole? Not sure how abusive he was but if you stay and he openly cheats, he’s not going to respect you if you don’t respect yourself.

The daily mail article (and prior ones) said it was her house until she sold it to a company / trust (that the in laws own). Her dad who had been staying with her in Barcelona is very ill and had been getting treatment there - unknown whether he can travel. She originally intended to finish the kids’ school year then move.
How did you evict your own grandkids out ? I don’t think it’s shakira who is to blame.

If she doesn't own it, then I assume they're ready for her to go to a home to raise her kids that is not theirs.
If my in laws had owned the home I lived in when I divorced their son, I'd expect to need to leave.

From what I can tell her relationship had been in trouble for over a year, with the break up announced last June. In December a custody arrangement was finalized where Shakira would move with the kids to Miami and Gerard could see them when he wanted. Her father had a bad fall last year and he’s had setbacks in his recovery.

Shakira has an ongoing tax fraud case she is embroiled in which also may have factored in the delay to move.
