Thank you! I have been eyeing the small flap for a while but always talked myself out of it “too expensive” “fits as much as a mini” etc. But finally pulled the trigger! I loved and wore square mini a lot but got rid of it for a mini rectangular!
What others bag do you have in your collection? Are you thinking to add a smaller size?

Looking at the caviar more closely, it actually appears to be coated and glossy, especially comparing to my 20A beige cch matte caviar - is this what you see?

Yes, actually the one I really want (pearl crush WOC) has been impossible to find; I've been looking for it on resale sites but hardly anyone seems to be selling it. I know WOCs fell out of favour recently but I wanted one to tuck inside jackets, coats. Even the minis are too thick for this purpose.
I currently only have a M/L classic flap but I regret it doesn't crossbody too elegantly. I still do it sometimes, it's just a tad awkward.
I had a 226 Reissue I loved--was the perfect size for stuffing everything I needed (including a small umbrella on some days)--but when it was full the bare chains dug into my shoulders so I let it go. That's when I realized 225 or mini Reissue is probably better for me but I'm holding out for a seasonal combo that grabs me again.
I'm more interested in your rationale because I found your reasoning in curating your collection so helpful to informing my decisions (great insight into color combinations & proportions), even if we have slightly different needs/tastes. I even find myself agreeing with your criticisms of the bags I do/have own(ed), such as the slightly plasticky caviar and wiiide M/L LOL but it was the best compromise I could take for now. Side-by-side, the Reissue outclassed my caviar M/L flap but I had to select for functionality.
So yeah, 1 WOC and 1 Mini (or 225) are on my want-list.
I have not noticed any differences but that’s likely because I haven’t compared them. I just need to add a light grey and then my collection should be complete
I didn’t mean to offend anyone, just talking from personal experience. My apologies if you think I did. I owned jumbo, m/l caviar at one point and it didn’t work out for me. Reissue, not popular with lot of ladies, but my favorite bag! I have worn it to the bone during pandemic, so I depends what our needs are! I noticed that you have it on your wish list too. Since you already have a CF, reissue would add a nice variety!! I think the small flap and Reissue 225/226 looks good on me (proportionally) talk about being self absorbed lol , I am going to post pictures for you so you understand my ramblings.
@Rami00 Not offended at all... I'm just going to wait on the 225, I wish they offered more in brushed or shiny silver hardware. The ruthenium is just ok and the brushed gold is too much gold for me.
