Got my first Chanel bag! I went to the Robertson Chanel boutique in LA, tried on a bunch of CFs, and decided on the black jumbo CF in caviar with silver hardware. They didn't have the bag in stock at that store, but there was one brand new in the box at the Beverly Hills store so we drove over and picked up my new baby.

I've been wanting a Chanel bag for a while, and I finally pulled the trigger after:

• finally being a job and company I love - started 6 months ago and I'm still as happy as day 1,
• getting a promotion and becoming a people manager, and
• having to postpone my wedding by a year due to COVID!

Aww that's so nice, thank you!! I like it a lot as it's different which is what I was looking for but I still can't decide if I should exchange it for a Classic instead. Wish I could just get both =)

The tweed is stunning. Personally, would do a classic next time you are ready for another splurge and hold onto this one. I don’t think you’ll regret it!
My only hesitation would be the use you intended it for. I worry that the tweed might be less durable than leather (possible stains/discolouration) but I don’t have personal experience with it. I think it’s just so glam.

I picked up my first classic flap on my birthday weekend I always thought I would get a black for my first classic flap but I fell for this color. Honestly still debating if I should exchange for the black (I’ve already exchanged the M/L for a jumbo in the same grey color lol).
This is a grey lamb with Champaign hardware. The grey looks so different under different lighting - it can look almost black but then shimmery grey under a different lighting. I love it. Grey is such a versatile color!

I purchased from my local boutique in Australia (Melbourne), so I don't know the USD price, but if it helps, this was 250AUD less than the classic WOC (this one: https://www.chanel.com/us/fashion/p...c-wallet-on-chain-lambskin-silver-tone-metal/)

It's a great piece, I love the classic Chanel flap aesthetic, removable strap and magnetic clutch, and the strap drop being 2 inches shorter than the original WOC...so I told myself it's totally different enough to justify having another WOC

I’m a Chanel newbie! Bought these recently! I’m in love with my Chanel small CF and zippy coin purse! I originally bought the mini rectangle but exchanged it for the small instead. Can’t believe how late I am with purchasing Chanel. Over 10 years, I’ve only purchased Louis Vuitton, but recently I’ve been disappointed with their service and products. Hopefully to purchase more before another increase.
