I’d been eyeing this for months and couldn’t swallow the price. But Labor Day brought some irresistible sales so I jumped. I wanted this so bad for my last trip as my travel bag. Here it is. 2014 Rouge Ambre Camera Bag (not sure about the style name, actually).
Rouge Ambre is the perfect name for it. It’s Honey-wine red. And the leather is soft and lovely, unlike the creepy leather on my Bleu Persan City which is from the same season.

Nice haul! The purples are killing me, they are such lovely specimens, both of them.
I like the raffias. Are they soft and pliable or more structured and scratchy?
Both are structured but not scratchy, interesting material because I wore it safely with silk. The smaller on the shoulder. The big tote is roomyband great for work, and is very very sturdy and strong.
Once a while ago I had a YSL raffia downtown (still sad I sold it) and that one was soooo soft and pliable raffia.
It was hate at first sight with this bag. Which over time turned into obsession. Then the second wave of hate crept back in given the invariable €€€€€€€$$$$$$$ you have to pay for these (I’m cheap). But the obsession continued.
But at long last, l found one in great shape at a non-hair-singeing price. I cleaned up with the Labor Day sales. I believe this is the older sister to LostInBal’s small city.

Nice! I love these graffiti Bal bags. I saw a few on Fashionphile, but they were way overpriced imo.
Thanks to the ever amazing and generous @earswithfeet for her assistance, was able to have this bodacious 2005 Rouge Theatre First with its plump and wonderfully distressed leather land!
