Come to think of it I havent used it in a while now either. Thanks to this thread I'm going to use it tonight!

I definitely have some sentimental bags. One is the Gucci horsebit convertible clutch that my DH got me for my birthday one year, and the other is a Judith Lieber bag that was my mother's. While I wear the Gucci for evenings, I still have never worn the JL. I am not sure if I could part with it either!

For my 19th birthday, my parents bought me a black monogrammed hobo from Celine that I had been eyeing for a long time. It is so classic and I'm sure it will last me a lifetime. Even after several years, it is still one of my most precious bags :)

I sure do! I have a couple that have wonderful memories attached.

1. My D&B all weather leather satchel. (similar pic at the bottom).
Why? It was my first major handbag purchase when I was in my earlier 20s and I felt SO cool and sophisticated carrying it to work every day!

2. The other one is a Rodo evening clutch (I don't have a pic)... It's silver brushed metal with crystals on the top closure...a Judith Leiber type of clutch. I have brought it with me on a few cruises and WOW it is awesome with evening gowns and cocktail dresses!

I have my grandmother's navy Coach bag that I inherited when she died. I was quite close to her and it was really a tough time in my life. My mom gave me her Coach bag because she knew how much I like purses and thought it would be a nice memento. I don't use it but it's carefully wrapped away in my closet, just the way my grandmother would have kept it!

This is my sentimental bag, my boyfriend bought it for me on my birthday, its an Elephant Gray Multi Marc by Marc Jacobs, a bit over $300, and it was a huge deal because my boyfriend thinks all this purse obsession bag hoo-hah is the dumbest thing ever, he always says he thinks designers are "taking the piss" meaning just messing around and cutting a design out there slapping some ridiculously high price tag on it.

but he bought it for mebecause he knew I realy wanted it even though he thinks the whole mentality of designer purse obsession is incredibly stupid
