Hi

Anyone here own the messenger?
I know it's been out in America for a while, how does it look after using it for a while?
How much can you fit in them?

I tried the large selma but as I'm tall and want crossbody the strap is too short to wear crossbody!

Ive had mine for about 5/6 months so I can't comment on how it's been holding up but so far so good. :)

This is what I can fit comfortably without over stuffing & still have room at the top to fit my iphone (with an otterbox) and my keys.

Hope this helps! :)

I have had my medium Selma messenger for 6 months now and it still in excellent condition. It really keeps its shape and the leather looks brand new.

I can easily fit my Iphone, set of keys, large wallet, lipstick & sunglasses in there. To me it is the perfect bag.

Good luck

I just picked up a fushia Selma grommet messenger about a week ago and so far so good. I purchased it at Macy's on clearance. It was a return and had two small blue stains on it, but I was able to use my Coach leather cleaner and it came right off, so I'm definitely loving the saffiano leather. I feel like the messenger is the perfect size. I can fit a small wallet, my phone, car keys, kindle, a travel size fragrance mist and lotion, a pack of gum and 2 lip glosses. If I really needed to I'm sure I can fit a few more small items in there too. I'm 5'5 and I always wear it crossbody, the strap is also adjustable and it has two more little holes to make the strap a bit longer.

I own the medium messenger and mini. I love them both! The mini is pretty small so it's better if you want something for the eve or a bag for just a few essentials - it is deeper than most bags that size though. The medium messenger could easily be used more as a daily bag if you're not one to carry bigger bags. I can get my Coach slim zip wallet, sunnies, small make-up bag, and a few other essentials in there. The Saffiano leather holds up very well. I also like that the strap is adjustable and it is actually long enough for me crossbody. Most bags tend to fall about an inch or two short of what I want for a crossbody length. You can also detach the strap and carry it as a clutch is you want - that's cute too. I say def go for it! Post pix if you end up buying one. :)

This is my large selma messenger. I love the look of the bag, and it's a great size with a long strap. It can hold my Betsey Johnson wallet, a coach wristlet I use as a coin purse, my Prada sunglasses in their case, Chapstick, chubby stick lipgloss, and I've managed to squeeze a water bottle in there with my phone as well. It has a tight opening which is probably the only issue I have with it. I haven't used either of the ones I have enough to know for sure if that will soften a little and become easier to get in and out of, but it's so pretty so I deal with it. Also, this is just me personally, I like the security of zipper closings but I hate using zippers. Silly right? That's just me though

I've seen the Selma messenger in real life and I can't believe all that fits in there to be honest! That's a useful crossbody bag to have. Hmmm...gonna look into the colorblock ones in a few weeks!

I know right!? At first I was iffy about it until I tested how much could fit and I was really suprised. It really is a great bag. Not too big and not too small. :)
