I do love a 40 cm Birkin, but like at least a little "flop" to it. Assuming this bag will remain very rigid, which makes a 40 look huge.

The bag won't be very rigid because it's unlined.

My GM said it's unlined so that it's lighter and easier to carry. I've been reminding my SA that I'm very interested. Hopefully I can get my hands one on.

I do not know how this is all going to play out but my SM said it will be quite rigid...like a sellier Kelly.

For an unlined bag the price seems a bit high. Yes I know it is a B, but to me it won't be worth it. H is asking top dollar for a bag that takes less time and less materials to make. Unlined bags are traditionally cheaper than lined bags. I would like to see it IRL though.

All leather comes unlined. Then you line with fabric or another piece of leather. That's what lining means. Let's wait and see IRL then we will know. I personally don't care for a 40 no matter what. But will ask my SA about it as I am just curious.

Thanks for clarifying. Yes, I meant it is not lined with chèvre (as we usually see in birkin) but only lined with chevron.

It is selling at around USD16,000 in my home country (approximately 12K euro). It is rather pricey. However, I am sure it will have its fans.
