Sell or Keep? (Cartier Pavé LOVE Ring)

Ya'll I'm at a crossroads right now. I have a gold regular size Pavé ring that I'm thinking of selling. I got it appraised by resellers (I'm not naming names) but they were both wack. They only quoted me around 4k? This ring's msrp is around $7300 now plus taxes. Anywhoo, I was planning on selling this and buying the thinner Pavé plus a thin regular love ring-so I could stack them. Therefore, 2 rings for the price of 1. But what do you guys think? Just keep it or take it?

Keep. It's gorgeous!

I might be the minority on this topic.. my personal preference would be selling the 3 row and get the plain and 2 row stacking… if you don’t think you are going to wear all three together. i really like the contrast of plain gold and pave in the same line. The plain gold helps bring out the diamond shine. You can enjoy both the original design and the diamond. Again, just my personal preference

No idea on your initial question. However, I closely monitor resale values and I see Cartier jewelry at 85 % from list. As there was a recent price increase this makes the calculation even better. Yes, we are here not Patek or such but I consider my Cartier stuff enjoyable whilest holding up its value ... and not making me rich. Or poor.
Cartier does retain its value but only if you sell it yourself or consign it. The resale sites do not buy it a lot because they need to make money too.
