Yes I would sell the Kelly. Your channel is beautiful but if your not using her then sell and get what you really want. I have the Retiro nm . This is one special bag. I can't think of one bad thing to say about it. I would buy this bag all over again.

I vote yes but because I already own the Retiro NM. It's such a beautiful, striking bag so why not own it if you can. Selling a bag you don't use for a bag you will sounds like a good decision. Good luck deciding.

Your Chanel looks like it's in great shape! [emoji7] I would not sell a vintage Chanel kelly for an lv retiro. No way. Especially since many LVs are now made in USA, which really devalues it for me. Vintage Chanel is so stylish and timeless and the retiro might have a shelf date. I have an lv figheri gm sitting in my closet and though I love it and it is made in France, I kind of wish I put that money toward a Chanel. If you do need to quench your monogram thirst, I would get an lv slg. Those things last forever. [emoji6]

I should also add that you should do what makes you happy and the retiro does look like an utterly practical and easy to use bag. [emoji3]

No question IMO between these 2. . . I love LV BTW but Chanel leather over monogram canvas isn't comparable for me personally.

That said, but what YOU love.

I agree with the very first comment. Hand bags are not investments. I say if you do not use the bag sell for something you will use. I am all for selling bags to fund new ones especially if you do not have the funds. Keeping a bag because it is a vintage bag to me personally is a waste if its not used. Good luck with what ever your decision is!

I absolutely love the Retiro!
