Hi! This is my first post after lurking for ages!

I'm looking to buy my first Mulberry bag, I'm hopefully getting the Medium Lily in black glossy goat with nickel hardware. I've saved up but I am waiting for the next Harrods reward day for 10% off! The prices are crazy expensive! I have been chatting to a girl on YouTube who said she got 40% off her medium lily at House of Fraser during a brand event, but when I spoke to the lady in my local HoF she told me that Mulberry "never ever" take part in brand events so I dunno....I just want to get my hands on the bag now, but 40% off would have been a fantastic saving!!

Hmm well if it's any help I heard that Harvey Nichols are having an event next month that will definitely include Mulberry, but whether that's only the Leeds one, when it is or what discount would be offered I have no idea, was literally just told to keep an eye out and hope for the best.

Actually reading that back is making me sound ridiculously vague, apologies!

that is so what i will be doing! i own a fair few Mulberry bags and have never paid full price, always been either in sales or ebay!

Harrods had 10% off last weekend!
I've never seen Mulberry take part in any brand event at Hof so not too sure on that one.

I know! I can't believe I missed it! I want to get the black medium lily with the silver nickel hardware but it isn't available in Selfridges, only direct from Mulberry or on the Harrods website

I'm counting down the days now too! I will probably end up getting something from Selfridges as the medium Lily in black glossy goat and silver HW has disappeared from the Mulberry website when I rang Harrods they told me that the bag doesn't come with a box or a dustbag, which has kinda put me off buying from them. I thought a dustbag would be standard with such a high end brand. Mulberry customer services told me that the bag should be back next year but I wanted it for my birthday and Xmas and NYE parties! Oh well, perhaps it'll be an Alexa from Selfridges at the end on November!

I checked with Mulberry as a Harrods sent my Cara without a box. I was told tha Harrods wouldn't send the box anyway but ALL bags come with a dust bag.

I'm leaning more towards the black glossy goat Lily, I was hoping to get it in the Selfridges discount event, but silver hardware is such a deal breaker for me, and Selfridges only have the gold! Decisions decisions....

Oooh yes, I had a look at your pics, the silver hardware looks so lovely on the black medium lily! I think I'm going to have to (begrudgingly) skip the Selfridges event and make a full price purchase from Harrods!

ooh yes!! do selfridges do all of their mulberry collection as 20% off?

does anyone know if its better to wait for the mulberry sale? I'm itching to buy but thinking that colours like oxblood won't go in the mulberry sale so best to get the black friday discount?
