seiko coutura w/ diamonds or omega constellation?

from what I know, the price of Omega watches seem to be appreciating constantly (by that I mean the sale price of the same model). I have a constellation with diamonds, bought about 2-3 years ago (the retail price was SGD6k++). Now it is selling at about SGD8k here.

if possible, I would also suggest to go with Omega with diamonds.

Yup, the prices have been appreciating as more and more people are getting them. It's very popular in Singapore and I believe with the Olympics Beijing, it's gonna override Rolex in China too.....They are increasing the prices again on 1 May this year!!! Think I'll settle for Omega. I'll give Rolex a miss and wait for my mom to pass me her Rolex then, hehee..

yes !!! thats what i felt too! although seiko is quite a mass marketed brand, it does have some rose among bushes :P , they have a line called GS? grand seiko? i'm not sure but i think that line is quite expensive in the thousands... however back to coutura, the 55 diamond one is very beautiful. although my goal is omega w/ diamonds, i tried it (seiko55) on at the shop and out of all the watches that single one looked stunning...hmm...maybe i'll get both.:okay:

singapore~~ i'm going back in december (was there for high school)!! we should have a thread that talks about what singaporean girls like, i wanna go back dressed in fashion :p

actually the seiko one is not that expensive, it's around 800CDN, 400 on amazon. omega w/out diamonds is 1600CDN, 1000 on amazon~

congrats to you slip on your new purchase!

I love my Omega Constellation. It was exactly the watch that I wanted for years (more so than any other brand or style) so I finally bought it about 2 years ago. I have a mini size with the white mother of pearl face and a diamond bezel. It's the Cindy Crawford model one with the shiny links. I have a petite wrist so it suits me well. The only one complaint that I have is the polished links get very scratched up easily, but I still love it! I wish that it had diamond hour markers as well, but didn't want to spend the extra on that.
