Scratches on gold hardware of pochette Metis?

Hey everyone!!! Hope your new year is starting off great... Yesterday I went out to do some shopping in the city and took my pochette Metis out for the first time... I was extra careful with her because I knew the hardware could get scratched... When I got home I inspected her and apparently I wasn't so careful... I got a few hairline scratches, you can only see them in the light but they really bother me... Am I being over sensitive? Is there a way to polish the scratches out? How do you guys keep the gold looking shiny and new.. I really wanted this to be my carefree throw on and go anywhere with a toddler bag. I have a feeling I might have to baby it more than I thought  thanks everyone!!

Take a little effort but use a phone screen protector! Trace and cut, then remove the protective film. :)

Hi all,

Sorry for reviving this thread. Anyone have luck with a specific screen protector? Did it leave a film residue or any discoloration?
I have a new bag with lots of hardware but the prefab protector companies don't have them ready yet.

Any feedback from your experience is welcome!

Thanks!!

Thank you! I’ve already reached out to them and the purse is too new, they don’t have protectors for it yet 🙃
