The black CGSM does come on E*** from time to time . I was lucky to find it in store a year or two after it came out , one of my few pieces of H luck and my first CSGM.

Ha! Good guess! We have indeed met, we even posted pics somewhere, who knows where. We do look a bit alike actually, now that you mention it! We had such fun, and she took me on my first H boutique shopping experience. Can't wait to see her again!
Thank you for the background info on that beautiful porcelain! So not ironstone, I didn't catch the gold in the first picture. Absolutely exquisite, and how wonderful that it's heirloom. I collect ironstone, but I love porcelains in general. I am so glad you've found a use for some of it. Beautiful items like this need to be loved/used, in whatever way possible.

Isn't it wonderful how many connections we make through tpf? I just reconnected with an old friend who I had no idea was into tpf too. Amazing. And I don't even use Facebook. My husband thinks I've gone off the deep end. He might be right. But it's really fun.
My DH was scoffing at me for a while , now he's resigned to my 'fix'.

Totally agree! I wish we could have connected the other day. I also reconnected with an old friend via tpf...and my DH also rolls his eyes a bit and refers to it as tinder for purses.

Oh, that Pytheas. I missed it at the time and cannot find another one at the moment. Will keep an eye out for it as I really love the story, the pattern and that particular colourway.
