Interesting. The design is clearly chasse en india, but yet it is marked fantasies . If you google on fantasies, that is a different design. Wonder if this was some special issue.

DH has returned and has no clue either. Could be a special issue. Perhaps another TPFer has the same 70cm and can give us more info?

I love it because it has a contrast, as in the dark blue, hem. Hermes contrast hems are little under appreciated works of art all in themselves

Now that I take a much closer look the scarf fabric is pale blue not white and there is only one print colour, the darker blue. Could it have been part of the indigo theme? There is certainly a sizeable gap in my Hermes knowledge.

Not sure Croisette, does look like the same design although the I don't have any Chasse en Inde to compare. However here is a close up of the title

I think it is a special indigo edition, but the design is CeI and the title is changed. A little
treasure indeed, purplepoodles!

i have totally forgot what the theme week is but here is my scarf of the day silkies. Pegasus Pop...if you tie a 70 cm on an Evelyne it is the exactly right size for carrying your Evi close to the body instead of messenger!

Very creative, lanit!

What a gorgeous blue cat! Purr purr purr!

Lovely combination!

Thank you, dear Katherine Q!:smile1:

Running out to Pilates yesterday.

70cm cotton gauze 2008 Fantaisies Indiennes worn with tyedye Lululemon. Love this gauzy material wish I had more.

Those blues are perfect together. I think I'd actually enjoy doing Pilates if I had such a stylish outfit to go in! [emoji6]

It's exquisite. It's absolutely Chasse en Inde. I'm wondering if, since 2008 was the "year of India" if the true French title for that year was "Fantassies Indiennes" and not say "L'aneé d'Inde". Right? Could it be that? That would make perfect sense, especially considering that the classic Fantassies Indiennes pattern precedes 2008 by quite a bit I think.

Fascinating idea Pirula! Someone might have a French scarf booklet from that season. So loving this!!!

You make me feel guilty with this talk of running, and Pilates too …..I've lapsed.
ut you more than made up for it by showing us your cotton scarf.
Love H cotton , my Au Clair de la Mer seems very thick and ungauzy compared to your gorgeous blue Indiennnes .

Fabulous, Croisette -- that striped shirt is so sharp, too. Although I'm not the right shape for horizontal stripes, it makes me want one!
