Here's a few more from this week. Finally have a few moments to myself at least for a few more hours.

Phaeton again. This is the one scarf I have that I feel like I have a hard time making it "chic", if YKWIM...

I caved in and tried it with white and blue, and also with a more modern looking grey shirt...

I left the house wearing a fine wool sweater and returned in a t shirt today.
Saturday at trendy Brixton market is the best fun , divine places for lunch and great shopping.
I bought a little stripey t shirt to wear when the weather suddenly changed and it happened to look great with what I was wearing.
J'Aime mon Carré 70cm vintage silk.
Oh, how cute with both tops, frou frou!

Today I'm wearing festival (gavroche) with a ring a la bunnycat (thanks!!). And here are some archival pix with other blouses: View attachment 3373350View attachment 3373351View attachment 3373352View attachment 3373353
They are all adorable looks, and hard to believe it's only one scarf! Sixteen little square inches......
I have really enjoyed following this thread for the last few weeks. So many fabulous scarves in wonderful ties and drapes, with gorgeous clothes.

Anyway, here is my contribution with Dans un Jardin Anglais in a necklace tie....

1) against a navy top

2) with a turquoise top (colour here not quite true)

3) this top is called "soft teal"

4) and 5) with a purple T (colour not quite true), soft teal cardigan and Halcyon Days bangles in purple and turquoise.

HermesHope, I DO like!! Even with the same knot, the look has quite a bit of variety, doesn't it?

My first contribution in a while. Was traveling and then super busy at work but it's nice to see all my lovely ladies (and guys) on this thread again!!

Siam worn in pirate style today for the summer with vintage Chanel glasses. Below is the same scarf worn for cooler weather with a grey cardigan.

No , Bunnycat you mustn't doubt your flair. Your tops and pairings are always spot on as far as I'm concerned. You have your finger on the pulse of what's now somehow.
If you feel inclined to humour me, can you model your Phaeton with the b&w top?

Thanks, everyone, for the compliments on the Festival gavroche. I agree, frou frou - it looks weird flat, but ties beautifully, especially in this small format. This was my first gavroche, and now I have..... more.

Oh, that is such a chic combo!! I just don't have the nerve yet to mix patterns.

That MT.......again! Sigh, looks SO fresh on you!

Croisette, you are tempting me with this MT, I admit.

Oh, wow! That "non-matchy" gavroche goes GREAT with all 3 bags!

You always look so well put together!

Thank you, bobkat!

I too love Phaeton, but I understand. The other CW is more "me"....this is my continual struggle with Phaeton....what do I need to do to make it more me???? I always feel just a tad conservative when I wear it...which is clearly not me at all.... :D
