Though I love to write these lines,
I struggle to come up with rhymes.
Then through the dark I see a sign!
All I need is just some time

And maybe you do too, Seton! Think of a word and then four words that rhyme with it. Stick to iambic pentameter. Duh-du-duh-du-duh-du-duh.

I find it writes itself after that. I can use almost the same words to come up with a little poem about you!

Seton thinks she cannot rhyme
Struggling to reply in kind
A stiff gin drink, a twist of lime
Will have her rhyming in no time!

Super collection of Fantaisies Indiennes too!!! My favorite part of the design is the astronaut.

Ok, here are some of my multiples- trying to analyze why…
first Jardin Anglais- triple twin with PBP!!
i bought the pink/green 90 first. Later was looking at some BLUE scarves, of the 3 designs I tried on, liked JA the best, so ended up with another! Let's be honest there are several other CWs I could have ended up with!
And then I discovered mousses- this is the 140 Mousse.

Gasp! Gorg!

Seton, you kick arse with silk and sounds. No sucking allowed.

Scarf designs that you own in AT LEAST TWO COLORWAYS OR IN MULTIPLE FORMATS



Multiple scarves are so rewarding,

(Though others sometimes call it “hoarding.”)

But to a Silky, it’s purest nectar—

Acquiring scarves as a “Collector.”



We’ve all been there, in that shop

Where it’s just not possible to stop.

Whether in person or online

You had to say, “Yes, that one’s MINE!”



Bring them out, let us admire

Just came back from the holidays and had 30+ pages to catch up on. Congrats on a blowout first week and a slightly too accurate intro for the second week [emoji5]️

When DH is at work, I might pull out and share some of my multiples. Otherwise he is going to think I am nutso

Hahaha, xincinsin! My DH has so far not figured out quite how many scarves I have, though I think he's beginning to suspect something as I add a drawer from time to time!

Thanks, perfumegirl! It WAS a blowout first week, wasn't it? This one is stacking up nicely as well... all those stacks of scarves, too!
And yep, I do most of my scarf photography when DH is out of the house -- I am so enjoying my retirement!

then there is the "I just love this design" and can't decide between CWs!

1. Prime example: Au Coeur de la Vie. Bought the red border from original issue before I knew that it would be re-released in 2014. I think they all have a different mood, and I just love the botanical/animal design of this scarf.

2. Rose compass. Bought the 70 first. then I found the bangle..Then a year later, I bought my first mousse- well actually both of these, because I couldn't decide between them. They are a bit wrinkled due to heavy use!

Another reason to buy multiples- Buy one CW, but later find another CW that I like even more.

1. En Avant Toute! This is the scarf that started my H addiction- I was looking for QM2 version which rarely appears, after my first voyage in this beautiful ship. The top one from 2009 was my first ever H scarf. A few months later, I actually found and won the bidding on a 2004 QM2 version! I actually wear the first one more since I find it easier to wardrobe, The Qm2 is more like a collectors item for me, although I have worn it!

2. Mors et Gourmettes Remix. I bought the bright fuchsia /purple with blue one first- the SA and DH sort of pushed me into this. (DH has conveniently forgotten this!) This was early days of shopping in a H boutique. I would say this is actually my least favorite of all my scarves.Today, I would not have bought it. Occasionally, I think about releasing it.. The other one in the pastels is one of my fav go-to summer scarves.

and finally, buy the same design in a different format- different format fill different needs, after all..
1. Cavaliers du Caucase in 90 (tabac) and CSGM (black border)

Or final reason, the other format is purchased for DH, so doesn't count against my collection… LOL!
2. Pavements- Both DH and I loved this design at first sight! I got the 90 for me and later the pocket square for him!

I couldn't have put it better, scarf1 -- the absolute Necessity of Multiples!

Hahaha, xincinsin! My DH has so far not figured out quite how many scarves I have, though I think he's beginning to suspect something as I add a drawer from time to time!

Psst, ABQ2ATL, one of the major reasons I collect scarves is because they have a smaller footprint than my other very space-consuming hobbies.

Shall find some of my multiples in the evening when DH is busy playing couch potato
