Me too, ABQ2ATL. Right smack in the formative years when a child soaks up info like a sponge. I speak MfU better than Elvish :amuse:

Hahaha! Well, as a dedicated calligrapher, I learned to write in Elvish! Overachiever that I was at the time, I actually sent a note to JRR Tolkien in Elvish and got a nonspecific fan-response type answer with a stamped autograph. I'm not sure where it went, but it wouldn't have been worth much, I fear.

I moved on to Sherlock Holmes a few years later -- and as a retired professor, I'm still soaking up information like a sponge! (But now it's Sherlock Holmes and Hermes scarves!)

Wow, 30 pages of Feathers! I'm delighted to see such an enthusiastic response to my first week as Scarf Mistress... you have all been fabulously feathery, and there's just more fun to come!
I'm torn between summarizing all your responses and simply getting on with the next topic -- since DH and I have just hosted a delightful boeuf bourguignon dinner in honor of our 35th anniversary, I think I'll skip the summary and make this introduction short and sweet.
Thanks to all of you dear Silkies for making this such an enjoyable beginning.

Scarf designs that you own in AT LEAST TWO COLORWAYS OR IN MULTIPLE FORMATS

Multiple scarves are so rewarding,
(Though others sometimes call it “hoarding.”)
But to a Silky, it’s purest nectar—
Acquiring scarves as a “Collector.”

We’ve all been there, in that shop
Where it’s just not possible to stop.
Whether in person or online
You had to say, “Yes, that one’s MINE!”

Bring them out, let us admire
The scarves you’ve chosen to acquire
In twos or threes or fours… or more,
This is what Purse Forum’s for!

I went to a cafe decorated with some equestrian motifs so I wore my Hippopolis. I adore this scarf and this CW. I've mentioned it was my first H scarf before, right? Well... slight confession, but I loved this so much the picture of it from the H website is even my phone background. I hope to see more designs from Ugo Gattoni in the future.

You are really making me want this scarf. I love your entire outfit! Those cool cutout sleeves...[emoji173]️

Ok duplicates week. This makes me feel less guilty. My latest trend has been to have one colorful and one more neutral or one darker and one lighter version of patterns that I love. I'll try to wear a few of these during the week to demonstrate how different they look.

And there's no excuse for this but truly they are different. Dans un jardin anglais. I also have a blue mousseline in this design.

I'll save the different formats same design for another day. Because different formats truly don't count. [emoji12]

What a fabulous intro! Somehow being a "collector" makes me feel better about myself than "having more scarves than sense!"
