That's a lovely pale cw!"Route de la Soie" is a great favorite of mine.
Here it is in a different CW.
You have such gems, Croisette! Someday, I will get a Bonsai, in the meantime, I'll just look at the ones in my overprolific neighbour's gardenStarting the weekly theme

Yummy! I am enthralled by Urashima Taro, but I don't think it was issued as a 90cm silk. Such a lush design...Happy Valentine's Day silkies! DH and I celebrated last night for a delicious meal at one of our city's trendiest and chicest restaurants! Wow the meal was out of this world. My little red trim accompanied me with the Urashima Taro mousseline!
Here are my GM asian silks and an assortment of twills and mousselines too. I hope you all have a fabulous day with your loved ones!
Such gorgeous Turandots, frou frou! The chrysanthemums look almost 3D.From China , a couple of Turandots ; a red and a blue.
Hi, Hermeshope, wishing you good health and sunny days! Your gorgeous green Daimyo enabled me into buying one for myself.Well, I have just realised that I have a scarf suitable for this week. It is not long since I posted about it, but here it is, Daimyo in green:

Very pretty! My scarf of the day today! Mors et Gourmettes Remix in clay/salmon/pale yellow with a permabrass Bolduc scarf ring!! Paired with a navy Brooks Brothers cardigan and a white Ralph Lauren oxford! Thanks for letting me share!![]()
Beautiful!Hi, Hermeshope, wishing you good health and sunny days! Your gorgeous green Daimyo enabled me into buying one for myself.
I chose a very safe cw in black as I was strongly reminded of kimonos. Shown here in my first try at a Beautiful Bova knot, and against a kimono with pictures of Japanese courtiers (closest version of a daimyo I could find)

My modest contribution to my favorite of themes.
For China: Jonques et Sampans 90 and Collections Imperiales twilly (modeled with a cinnabar box I got on a trip to China)
For Japan: Tsubas gavroche and Bateau Fleuri gavroche (not strictly Japanese but the waves have a definite Japonaiserie influence)

14 Feb 2016 CHINA, JAPAN, KOREA, MONGOLIA: scarves featuring EAST ASIA
This is the first of my Geography Week posts -- I was told there had been requests for more of this sort of thing, so I hope you enjoy and have a lot to contribute. My introduction will be short and sweet this week, as I'm still tired from Photoshopping versions of the Annie Faivre Monkey Quiz that nobody understood last week.![]()
Jahna and I have already shared Au Fil de la Soie, so I'll add a couple of others:
Sichuan for China and Daimyo Princes du Soleil Levant for Japan
Wow! I love jacquards and I am very happy to see them back this season!Does anyone know this edition of of a well-loved classic:"Jonques et Sampans"?
.
This one was edited for the 50th Aniversary of the People Republic of China as the dates on the bottom of the scarf say.
It is a jacquard with stars.![]()
Thanks!I love it and I haven't seen many like this. Most CWs have dark blue or bright red borders. That's a lovely pale cw!
