Hello everyone! I am finally back and brought something great home with me from H yesterday. I usually prefer silk over cashmere so never was as into the CGSMs as many here seem to be (though I love seeing them on you all I thought it would look too casual), but.... I saw an absolutely perfect one and it was the last in store.

I really do love it a lot! And the cashmere format doesn't look as casual as I worried it would on me (at least I don't think so). That is very true about H. I rarely end up leaving with what I came there for. Usually other things catch my eye and everytime I go I find something new to love.

H has definitely expanded my wardrobe a lot and gotten me into things that I typically wouldn't go for, that are out of my comfort zone... etc.

I never paid much attention to the shawls before this one to be perfectly honest. I will have to give them more of a chance from now on. Thank you!!

I enjoyed a very successful trip to H today, and like froufrou, I truly appreciate being able to invest in such beautiful pieces and to be able to share with you on these forums. I apologize that my pics are always so huge...don't know how to change that. I got my first mousseline, Under the Waves, and oh my it feels like a piece of heaven around my neck!! Next I picked my black and white scarf...decided on Collections Imperiales after all. It is the one that gave me most of the true B & W look that I was looking for. And lastly, being totally inspired by pocketbook pup, I picked up my first bandana!! Who knew???

Thank you, Croisette -- the hiding animals are certainly foxes in this colorway! Grey Swedish Vallhunds are often described as "little wolves" so that probably accounts for my impression of Ombres et Lumieres... Such a beautiful CSGM!

I don't know why you don't reach for this as it looks amazing on you froufrou.

Admittedly we are twins on this, and I don't wear mine as frequently as my ELKimono. I think I would agree the warm tones towards the browns tend to conflict with my primarily charcoal neutrals which I tend to wear more of. I think the spring and summer will change that though since i will gravitate toward white again.


Croisette - that RED marwari makes me swoon! I am on such a ban though on 90 silks, so I get to admire yours on you!

Great choices!!!! There was a run in bandanas at our store this week. The SA had to search for which drawer they were in for me. I think we were the first to open that drawer in a while. I love yours. Perfect for you.

Bova, we did a commercial for our practice- I know I hate commercials for doctors- and I wore my mythiques Phoenix in a perfect bova knot. You won't see it where you live but I hope someone watching says hey look at that bova knot on that mythiques Phoenix. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
