I almost forgot that there are subtle ways to show horses too.. Here's my SOTD: the jacquard weave of L'Instruction du Roy that shows a rearing horse, although there aren't any horses in the scarf design.

My on theme SOTD today...Cavaliers du Caucase. Unfortunately you can't really see the horse detail, but I know it's there! The knot happened totally by accident as I was experimenting this morning.
