Dear ABQ, scarfmistress:
Here is something old and something new … :smile1: I counted at least 10 horses on my Paddocks.

So chic on you, lyseiki!

What a fabulous colorway of Chevaux Arabes!
My grandmother calls this my "Lawrence of Arabia scarf" haha.

Wonderful carrés, ABQ2ATL and pretty tied!, as always! Thank you for your kind compliment.

Wore this today but didn't have time to post until now.
Not on theme, although cw07 of my Dans un Jardins Anglais gives me kind of a wintry vibe. I'm still very new to scarf wearing so I haven't figured out how to best wear a 90 cm on me. I'm having an easier time with the 70 cm format. View attachment 3257775
Beautiful! I came very close to adding this one to my collection. Love it on you!

Thanks for the great intro, and loved seeing the scarves tied. The mosaique one- can you show it flat?

I'm very fond of Equitation Japonaise... this one is old (1969), brown, and I got it cheap from the Bay because it was very dirty. I washed and washed it and it turned out very well, so that's a good reason to like it too. It was because I got to know it so well that I discovered its secret -- the spotted horses around the border are all the same horse! I made a composite of all the borders so you can see it better, though some of the corners repeat. Only one horse is a solid color (I believe it's the spotted horse's best friend). You could make up a story about the spotted horse learning all the special tricks and steps.
There is also a lesson about how to avoid the "horse rump" problem -- it's all in how you fold the scarf. The first of the two photos shows rumps and the second shows horse heads. You can take your choice!

Hello, my silky darlings! :dothewave: Although I haven't posted much, I do love all your wonderful Ice and Snow scarf-in-action photos. :hbeat:

I have an announcement -- I'm changing the positions of artists Robert Dallet and Caty Latham. She will move back to November and Dallet is moved forward to March 6 -- the reason being that 2016 is devoted to Dallet's wildlife art with Panthera Pardus proceeds going to Big Cat preservation (more in March).

Stand by for the next Scarf of the Day topic! :woot:

Great idea!! :tup::tup:
