Looks great Pirula!

Thank you, Bova, I definitely will try this beautiful knot tomorrow :)

Pirula, I am also wearing the same design today, just tied loosely on the shoulders. Do you happen to know your cw? It's really stunning!

And it looks fantastic on you too dear.

Cold, gloomy, rainy Thursday in North Texas. Les Music de Spheres in a tucked-in cowboy.

Go John - this is such a super colorway of MS.

that's lovely. Yes, mine is cw 11 I believe. The Noir.

so beautiful! I had never seen it in black before  I have this scarf in burgundy and in that fresh fresh lilac. The design is so pretty, I am tempted to hunt down another one :)

I too have never seen the black /CW11 Jardin before. It's gorgeous!
Pirula, could you please share a photo of it lying flat???

Its been rainy here too these past few days. Finally an overcast day to bring out a twill safely. Been wanting to bring out Beloved India for a while. My necktie knot.

You are the queen of those small formats!

I love the flower knot too bunnycat! Although you are truly the queen of this look :queen:

Flower knot looks amazing on you my dear bunnycat [emoji173]️[emoji173]️... Beautiful!!

Gavroches galore!! :D:D

Thank you very kindly scarf1, Bova, eternal and BJS!

Hi everyone. You are looking great. Love the Bova knot demonstrations. Bunnycat looks fab oh her flower knots. And trophees de venise is of course one of my favorites.

I have a new favorite way to wear a scarf. I just received this grande loop necklace. It plays off the large format scarves so well.

This looks wonderful against your grey shirt!

gorgeous as always lanit!

Wearing the Bova knot yesterday...although as I have mentioned in the past, credit goes to one of the lovely SA's at the Boston store. I have also posted pictures to try and show the sequence involved in getting this look. I apologize that I am not tech-savvy enough to know how to add those cool hand-drawn arrows and such, so I hope this helps those who struggle to tame this knot (eh-hem Pirula :hugs:)

I'm going to try this one Bova. It will get cold tomorrow here so a good time to try...I'm interpreting what I see as a slip type knot on both ends...

Also...I think we have sister or cousin bed covers....

Another gorgeous CW!

You should! I also have the cobalt/petrole cw and it's divine. thegriswolds has noir, petrole and white! PbP has fuschia, petrole, and the moussie! This was one of those designs that was beautiful in every cw. So far, it's the only dupe I own.
Totally agree! I have the same CWs as pOcketbookpup, but I could easily have had more!

Knots are my favourite thing about scarves - actually to me knotting came first, Hermes scarves were a consequence, since I discovered MaiTai because I searched for knotting tutorials. So the theme of the week makes me come out of lurkdom again. And I am an avid lurker, but only at my phone and I suck at typing at that thing. So forgive me for not posting all the nice comments your inspiring pictures would deserve.
:dothewave::dothewave::dothewave:

Although I've already announced the Scarf Week theme, I want to briefly revisit Dimitri Week and give a shoutout to the lovely scarf-in-action pictures. (Lots of pages without pix, though -- :shrugs: but conversation is good too)

This is my excuse for flooding this thread with pictures ;). Sorry if some are a bit crappy :-s

One of my favourite ways to tie a square scarf is what MaiTai calls asymmetric wrap, starting from a W-shape. It shows a lot of the design, is very variable and keeps me warm and cozy:

Next I want to present something I think I came up with myself, I call it the "bib".
Starting like waterfall knot http://www.maitaispicturebook.com/2011/02/waterfall-knot-how-to.html with a triangle, tie the ends of the short side behind the neck. Take the "bib" and shove it through the created loop. If desired, loop around more times for a different look.
