Thanks scarf1. I bought the pays des Oiseaux et fleurs shawl in green and white and that is fine. It has that pop of our colors. Ombre des boulevards is very white with only a bit of black. I think we would do better with something mostly black with some white or an equal combination of black and white. Tyger might be better, but I have one tyger so I'll wait.

I passed up the ombré boulevard for the same reason. It is lovely but a bit tough to wear without looking washed out. You might try Tyger or one of the past season shawls like jardin Leila, which is a darker natural color, or brandebourgs. I have all three of those and they work well for me.

Excellent choice my twin! I think you will love this one pbp. Interestingly, the ombré in black and white is the one I was considering. I am dying to find a CW of that design in either the 90 or CSGM, but no luck thus far. I thought that one might work, but based on your experience I fear I may have the same problem. I wish the black and white Brandebourgs was still available, but I don't see it other than through resellers now
