I don't know if newer members know this but when I was awarded my doctorate @lanit organised a Quintessence day in my honour (I also wore it to the ceremony) which made it an even more special day. I'm very in-tune with this design (wished I'd bought the dark blue too) and often wear the black and white together. I seem to have gone slightly mad on doubles here as I can see I'm wearing two vintage croc bags, at least I'm not wearing both my Mors (sometimes I do!).
I'm wearing Zenobie again today, I suppose when it gets to jewellery on scarves week I won't want to wear it. I didn't take this pic today but last week (today I was wearing it with simple navy).
I'm learning now that scarfies are able to draw out small, subtle "flattering" colours by pairing "difficult cw" scarves with tops that have versatile, complementary shades. So inspiring!
No, your colourway is much much nicer, it's fab, I love the blues. Mine was gold on the border and brown tones inside. Still wish I hadn't sold it. How come the thrift shops round here don't have wonderful finds like that, they are full of well worn Boden and dodgy party dresses.

Today wearing two gavroches - Madame and Monsieur and Bolduc. Was not entirely comfortable with the first - amazing how much material you get from 2 gavroches!
So tried this, which is more me! (Less material to get in soup etc.)

Sorry if I'm breaking the rules, but I *am* wearing 2 scarves today, just not tied together. Oiseaux des pays fleurs gavroche (working in overheated studio) and CSGM ex libris en kimonos (taking freezing cold train).
