What a classy and Stunning cw! I adore Bordeaux red!

Oh Silkies, it is Africa hot in Cali right now and some days, I cannot even wear a silk necklace, but from last week's theme, I worked this look and am happy happy happy. Not a classy MYH look at all, but my world allows me to wear this. As an Odd Duck Silkie, I have captured two of my favorite icons: Steven Tyler and Captain Jack Sparrow. I am a wanna be Pirate (who bathes and brushes teeth) and Rock Star!

Fabulous look!

Wow! So fabulous to see so many beautiful silks of summer! The posing and prancing of the ponies in my latest 140 ss Couvertures has been delightful. It is getting to be too warm for silks, though evening and early mornings are the only times to wrap up. Even then, the mousselines are the most useful these days.:blossom:

Both colors are heavenly beautiful!! Milky white flatters your skin tone!

Love this!

I dearly love animals, so lots of my favorite scarves have animals in some form or another. Here are two more that I wish to share. My beloved, unworn (:p), La Danse du Cheval Marwari DD and second cw of La Promenade de Platon.:smile1:

I understand, I have a few, some beloved,
unworn (like Millefleurs du Mexique!)silks!! I can imagine you put your Mawari DD back to the orange box, right after you took your mod pics:p: gorgeous look, as always, dear!

Yay! I remember Canty! I am now banned from my local supermarket, kept taking my scarves there and tying them round the produce...

On topic - what an outbreak of gorgeousness on this thread, I just cannot keep up! I have run out of superlatives to lavish on you Scarfies!

Yesterday I daringly tried a full body selfie, on topic as it's Danse du Cheval Marwari. You can see I am pulling everything in, pointing my toes, standing sideways..not sure why it's all Tower of Pisa though

cherryblossum, two funny twillies on two fantastic bags! Congratulations dear!

Bathing beauties!! Such a cute design, Cherry! :D

Cherryblossum, your twilly love is also MY FAVORITE Twilly!!

Whoa, my dear CB! Such loveliness in one single picture! Such a fun Twilly design and what a compliment to your stunning bags! The Ferragamo has my heart!

CBlossum, how wonderful!! You have the most exquisite taste! I particularly adores the lady swimmers, so witty.

Thank you everybody for the twilly(plus bags:p:) love!

Fabulous Pudfish! The belt and scarf are a great contrast to the pretty shirt!

It looks beautiful on you, Pudfish!

I love the expression 'Hump Day' but again it highlights that UK and US are 2 nations divided by a common language (to paraphrase old Oscar W). In the UK "hump" used as a verb means something a bit different...anyway what I wanted to say is I love the deep rich colours of your Bride de Cour, yum yum.

LOL re Pirate and Rock Star. Very inventive with the Twilly.

Lovely silks Lanit.

That is just amazing, gorgeousness in a scarf.

Wonderful, wonderful selection Croisette. Les Becanes is so charming.

To be honest, I am now a bit lukewarm about my Cirque Mollier, as it is red and green; I find the drawings charming but I am not sure how to wear it. Think I need to put it away for a bit and then rediscover it. Yours with the black is very striking.

Thank you for your kind comment, the red/green one is amazing too.

Croisette, I would kill for this pochette, the colours are fab and it looks killer with your caramel cardigan.

I really really love both of these. I have just very naughtily bought the coral Cheval Marwari DD, have not worn it yet either. Platon is a design I have not got but it's in my sights...I love the way you have matched it with your top, really makes it zing.

Glad you like the little pochette so much, dear Pudfish!

Hahahaa! Yeah, it has the same other meaning here too. I just couldn't resist using the H. Hahahaa! :p

A beautiful combo, JetSetGo!

Thank you, Croisette! ;)

Gorgeous Bride de Cour, JetSetGo! I also love your MG bucket bag! Rosa is a stunning color!

Thank you! I really loved wearing these two pieces together. Different eras, different voices and yet they felt perfect. :girlsigh:

JetSetGo, you are so sweet! I can highly recommend the cw! I tried it with a black sweater yesterday and it worked so nicely together. I have a tough time wearing scarves with black, but I can wear black clothes without problem. This scarf serves as the middleman with my black clothing and fair coloring! :D

I am of very fair complexion too! I will have to do some experimenting with your color theory. :flowers:
