A late evening entry. Just arrived from a vintage store in France. Inspired by sparkleslisa.

Pudfish I recited your previous description to my husband. His response: dear, you really must stop quoting Pudfish.View attachment 3033115

My dear, Croisette, they are all stunning and so full of detail! I especially love Alphabet des Metiers.

About to rush out in casual jeans and sweatshirt , and thought I'd share my Gaucho 70cm

frou frou, you can send this adorable Gaucho my way anytime! I love these colors!

Apologies for being stuck on last week's theme. When I saw honeylocks finger crochet of her scarf necklace, I knew that it would work with a twilly too for a bracelet!

MYH, thank you for such fantastic and creative knotting ideas! I love the Twilly with your Farandole! How cute is that!

Here is my Les Sportives, which I wore last week. I adore how MYH ties this scarf and I tried to tie as she does. I wonder why my ladies never get into line. Crowded.

Here is a picture to show how the twilly was tied - around the hook and eye.

My dear, Holsby thank you for this! I must look for a sweater with hook and eye closure! This is such a darling way to wear a Twilly! :smile1:

My silky friends I've been remiss while getting ready for our vacation so please forgive me. I have a lovely new gavroche to show you later today that just arrived.

All of you are showing some real beauties here! Pocketbook pup I love the colorway on your Chase and your new one is gorgeous! I think you chose the best colorway for that one.

Croisette, gorgeous as always. I love the Danse in purple.

Lovely pudfish and froufrou and bunnycat!

Love your new scarf! Isn't it fun? Your husband sounds like a very wise man..

CB - do you mean this one? If so, it's just cowboy knot but before I tie it around my neck I accordion fold the long edge of the scarf a couple of times. Kind of like how you would fold/pleat a paper fan.

Bunnycat, that is such a cool and casual look, and could have also been an entrant for last week's jewellery theme, really is a very nice choker.

So I thought the scarf I was wearing yesterday was on theme, but actually I am not sure this chap is actually moving. In fact he was hiding and I had to coax him out...

I think he is an aye aye, a sort of lemur? The scarf is Jungle Love 90cm (Robert Dallet).

As luck would have it, I had a couple of eBay rescue scarves out for washing and they have some actual movement going on.

This is Les Haras Nationaux by Hubert de Watrigant. I looked up what "Haras"means - it means "Stud" so I am feeling very Jackie Collins, what with being 50 plus and having a stud in my life..

This is a dancing elephant god from Torana (Annie Faivre) 90.

Oh, I feel honoured to have inspired you :blushing:. When I started reading about scarves here you were one of the first users that got stuck in my brain. One word: "Canty":D

I don't have any twillies (yet), neither a farandole, otherwise I would spend my evening with them .

On topic: Potager extraordinaire is full of people in motion, this is my favourite:
