Hello LADIES and GENTS!
It's me, S'MOM filling in for SPARKLELISAB while she recovers from the Taylor Swift concert where it appears she had just a little too much fun.
THIS WEEK it's SCARVES IN ACTION: Scarves worn with BLACK TOPS or BLACK DRESSES
If you're anything like me, black is my go-to wardrobe basic. I don't think I could exist without black! And the wonderful thing about it is that it's the perfect canvas for showing off our beautiful silk treasures and accessories.
So, since black is my favorite color (or non-color) and since I just bought my first black dress in about 20-years yesterday I'll start the ball rolling....
The first is my favorite 140cm Tapis Persians hiding a black stretchy top then Confessions in color #13 topping off a black v-neck and a pair of white linen pants and finally Mythiques Phoenix in color #11 worn with the black dress which thinks it's an Issey Miyake (but its not).
Looking forward to this weeks beauties!!!!
Wahoooo and Rock On Ms. Fabulosity in BLACK!! Dang, I wish I had the courage to wear my Mythiques Phoenix scarves. Still marinating.....poor things.....

Gorgeous lyseiki- you might try running one of the ends back through the double part of the Mors and see if it stays better that way, to sort of "lock it" as it were.

BJS- yes it came like this. I see them very occasionally (like 3 times in the past year and half). I was very curious about them and couldn't help myself....
I had intended to tear it apart for Mr Bcat as a pocket handkerchief, but it was so nicely done and the ring is quite heavy for its small size so I left it alone. Poor Mr Bcat...please don't tell him...

Dear Croisette, huge thanks! I just tried your knot and it works beautifully!! So delighted and will wear my plissé more often with this pretty tie. It really shows off the plissé.Kate, it's quite easy. Drape the scarf around your neck, ends hanging down and make a knot
near your neck. Grab and pinch the tails in the middle, slide a ring on and push the fabric towards
your neck. Thats it. I use the Infinity ring or something else. The result is always a bit different.
This looks perfect pocketbook pup, I find this a tricky look to pull off, but you clearly have the technique mastered because it looks great!

People have actually asked if its a picture of me on the cover (not smart people mind you). Thank you for this website pocketbook pup...and I think she does look just like you...as for me I can only wish my hair would look that sleek and elegant!! I actually have a card depicting a cute Parisian similar to your phone image, permanently displayed on my refrigerator which states: "I often daydream that my life is just as it is now...only I have well-behaved hair and I live in Paris"!! Ok, now back to topic of the week...
