Have a lovely trip Lanit. Sorry to be so clueless but what is a Bono? Saw it used the other day on this thread but still none the wiser. Am being a bit dense today, even fell for homemade joke by my 12year today - what was the medieval Turkish leader Saladin's second name? Answer: Abul. Saladin Abul. Salad in a bowl. Yikes, dreadful.

Here is my Fourth July tribute floppy bowtie.

Then I messed about with a Twilly using MaiTai's instructions for a twist wrap and tried to create a small bowtie, like the ones H has just launched. Sadly when one is my age one just looks a bit mad in a bow tie I fear. I am indeed quite mad but do not see why I should make it so obvious to everyone else.

Super fabulous picture, Pudfish! Love the first scarf and you knotted it so nicely! A perfect red, white, and blue tribute! The Twilly bow tie is very well done and looks darling on you! The LP is just hands down my favorite on you though! That is sooo pretty! Wow!!

As a guy who is quite partial to bow ties, I've always wondered if it was possible to use a twilly as one. THANK YOU for showing that it is indeed possible and, in fact, does not look strange as one. Hermes has a very limited selection of actual bow ties [real ones for men, not the costume-y new ones that are so tiny!] that I've always thought about getting some fun twillies for this purpose.
