I am hopelessly behind this week, I have tried to go back and view all of these wonderful posts and comment as much as possible. I apologize to those who have posted and I have missed commenting. Everyone truly looks fantastic!

One of two sets of multiples for me: Brazil in 90cm carre and Maxi Twilly. The MT knot is my attempt to try Maitai's new knot on her most recent post. I hope to post my other set before the end of the week!

Both look great on you Bova

I'm so behind on this thread! Have not commented on all the beautiful photos in awhile, have not done my multiples homework, and have not tried all the new knots arabesques has been showing. I am a scarf slouch. And to top it off, I have been leaving my PdV moussie in this braid so I can just throw it on and run out the door. Photo is in a lanitesque style.

I am so in love with the way you have braided this moussie! Sorry, I'm a newbie...where did you learn to do this?! Thanks:D

Scarfies,
I'm sure I have flooded this thread in the past week or so. Hope you aren't sick of seeing my photos yet...
The other day, I wore my Jardins de Nouvelle Angleterre, which I sought for nearly two years and finally nailed it this summer.

I hadn't worn it since purchase until that day. The evening I came back home and was about to put it back to the box, right then I saw something that I never paid attention to before: some mint green overlay details! The ink is somewhat like gum on top of silk surface. Fascinating!

I have seen matte white, matte grey, and silvery overlay, but never saw mint green! And I never noticed it on the scarf until then! It's that moment that I felt horrible about my scarf buying habit. I kept buying scarves like checking off wishlist, but once I had obtained the scarf, I didn't pay enough attention that the scarves deserve. I started to wonder if I'm buying to hoard or buying to admire and use? Am I a horrible scarf owner!
Anyway, moral of the story is: WEAR ALL SCARVES!!!!!! No more pickling!
:choochoo:

Very good moral to your story chestnutty! And, I'm in LOVE with this CW:D

5. Adjust the braid inside the knot if needed (to turn it a bit, for instance)

Sorry for the multiposting, but I was afraid the pix wouldn't be in the correct order.

Melora, thank you so much for showing us how to do this! (And I apologize for posting in the middle of your instructions!) Now we can do something else with a pair of twillies rather than wrap them around our bag handles! :woot:

A Cheval sur mon Carre GM in red. I wasn't sure if I liked this at first. It has turned into one of my most loved scarves. Goes to show that it is not always love at first sight.
Sunny and quite cold here.

This is a beautiful color! I wish it worked on me <sigh> We are sisters anyway, I have the noir, fuchsia CW.

momasaur - i feel honoured being the recipient of ur 1000th post and congrats on achieving that milestone :smile1:

I see what u mean. It wouldnt hit my Top 5, Baby but I do like Watrigant and I have worn 5 of the scarves at least once this yr, which is a good record. For me. So yes, definitely a favorite.

calexandre - wow, two maharajs! do you have a pic of the warm cw anywhere here?
Both ur ROs are beautiful too.

today's contribute is from my archives

Gorgeous CW's seton!:D

Ta da! So please never mind that the two scarves don't really match, nor do they match what I'm wearing lol, but I wanted to try it! Actually, I've got my other H twilly wrapped around my Evelyne and it's a bit of a to-do to re-wrap it, but I remembered that I have a substitute so I used that. Also, it wasn't quite as easy as it looked!!

Thank you again, Melora. :flowers:

Great job! :ghi5: I see a twilly shopping trip in our future!
