It's a fabulous look, florasun, and I agree with you that the second look is better. Though the entire ensemble will look even prettier on you than it does on Esmerelda!Inspired by Hermesguy, Lanit and Elaine, I decided to try to pair an H scarf with my striped tee shirt and fleece vest this week. I tried a couple of different looks on Esmerelda, and went with the second one.

Wait... what? That's the same scarf???? Just flipped over, or folded along the opposite bias? How brilliant! That means if you get the second CW, it will most likely do the same little trick, which means that your scarf-dollars will have bought four scarves for the price of two.Does this count as a multiple? One scarf that looks like two? (It might end up being a multiple for real. This is Petit Duc that I ordered for my b'day, but then decided I might want in the khaki/black CW - I have been wearing a lot of khaki green this fall. So this might go back, the other might go back, or they might both stay. Who knows? Fortunately I am chatting with people who understand...)

How pretty, melora! Did you just knot it in the back? How do you keep it from turning around? Magnets?A loose basic bias fold slightly twisted (La Vie du fleuve)

Mimi - two more lovely collections! Do you have a favorite way to wear the pocket squares?Post my other two groups of 5s as well.
H en Voyage (3 pockets, 1 70 and 1 90 Cashmere) I guess I have a thing for these suitcases. Wish H will have larger format of this design.
Pique Fleuries de Provence (2 90 and 3 pockets) Love flowers! Actually I really want the 6th one. The black/white pocket in this design... wishful thinking!
Great weekend, scarfies!![]()
Gosh Chestnutty - I feel like we should all pitch in $5 as a scarf HOA fee and give the pot to you for your time and care you put into this thread. We ae so lucky to have you! I read through the new themes and am so excited about them. I think I might need to go and buy a leather jacket!
You're such a sweetheart!cant imagine this thread without you.![]()
Dear Melora, Cowboy knot can fit the theme of "H in action: Ignore the bias folds!!! - Wear your scarves in ways not involving folding in biases" in my proposed list. Friendship knot is great, but it may be challenging to many people who are not so handy with knotting, so I'll just let everyone decide what knot they want on their own instead of alienating them.Wow! Great list!
I suggest you throw in some knots. What about a cowboy knot or a friendship knot challenge? (that could be fun). Or a not-around-your-neck week? I thought about scarves-on-your-head, but it makes me look like a housemaid
And a pipe organ week?

Pleasure, lanit. I thought of a Lanit's style week but I was afraid I could sound like a weirdo/stalker or that sort so I dicided not to, haha. (j/k)Chestnut, thank you (and seton) for this marvelous list of theme weeks for 2016! So thrilled to see this and looking forward to bringing out the silks to share with you all.![]()
Meh, just ignore my rambling, birkinmary. I could be paranoid and over-analytical sometimes with scarves. Just me being a crazy scarfie!I'm sorry to hear you don't wear your Pelages very often, I didn't know that the fringed hem could be fragile, actually I never paid too much attention to that fact. The design and color way is so versatile that I wear it at least twice a week in winter... I'll go and check the fringe is intact...![]()
Your red/white Kelly en Perles mousse stole my heart, textilegirl. I love the red Fleurs et Papillions des tissus on you, too. Both suited your complexion and brightened your face. And so, here's Kelly en Perles x 2; mousseline and GM twill from the archives
You're most welcome to share your thoughts, frou frou. Even though I'm originally from Communist country, I'm open to democracy on tPFI think the thread has always been 'which scarf are you wearing today' which means exactly what it says. Themes are fun too the two things can exist side by side .
It would be nice to have some fresh themes IMHO maybe put it out to send in ideas.
Editing this , just seen Chestnutty's post about the themes ahead and don't want to sound critical or ungrateful because she and Sparklelisab are brilliant at keeping this going .
Melora - love this scarf! How come we haven't seen it before?A loose basic bias fold slightly twisted (La Vie du fleuve)
I'm surprised you didn't yell at me for not putting any old-time artists (Ledoux, Watrigant, de la Perriere, Dumas, etc.) into the theme list. I just figured recent artist would solicit more contributions, that's all. Could be a regret later on. But we have time to change anyway.I am curious about which were the least participated themes if u have kept track?
