Scarf babes -

Last time we had this theme, I showed you my 7s. I didnt do this design since I thought I only had 6 but looks like I miscounted.
In roughly chronological order: top row are Carnevals, bottom row are Fetes.

I'm going to use my 1000th post to bow to you, Seton, for these amazing CWs of my favorite scarf! I don't care that it has two names (witness protection program?), it's still awesome. Thank you for sharing!!

Wow! That's amazing! And it's a good idea to show the exact same portion like that :)

Here is what seton said about both Fêtes vénitiennes / Carnaval de Venise and about jacquards.
It made my 2003 Fêtes vénitiennes even more special.

It came out of it's box for Ledoux week and I took a couple of pics , now it's gone back to 'rest'

Did I tell you the story when I was in the Paris sale last January? There was a woman wearing a fake La Femme aux Semelles de Vent shawl who had the ball to touch the Kachinas summer silk my friend was wearing without asking!!! Still give me goose bumps just thinking about it. I don't mind people wearing fakes, but the gut to compare it to the genuine one, wow, the gut!

I was afraid that posting the same photos in two threads would be tacky so I didn't post the Musique des Spheres, but don't you worry I wear it often so it will be here sooner or later.

Thank you for the nice compliments. Happy to be your twin. No I hope that's it. I ordered my super secret birthday scarf (le petite Duc, and I blame Sparklelisab for this one) and while it was in transit, I changed my mind about which CW I wanted. I just received the first one and am waiting for the second. It may be one of those cases where I can't decide which one to return. My wallet hates it when that happens.

Oh, florasun, I can't wait to hear how this story ends! I'm afraid I may end up in a similar position with Les Voyages de Pytheus, though I'll be in the boutique, so I would actually have to physically walk. out. with. two. boxes.

Don't know if I can do it.

I have started collecting and wearing H scarves earnestly since 2010 fall season. Last year I purchased Circus, without knowing it had been first issued in 80's. The color combination looked very strange to me at first, but I began to like the colors and the design. I needed another Circus, so I decided to purchase the Carré géant patch. It was a gamble for me to buy the "Patch"at that time, but I often wear both silks.

These are the ones I have been waiting to see, dear cherryblossum, and they are exquisite! Just look at all those wonderful colors! I certainly understand why you needed two of them... they are nothing alike. But they are both perfect CWs for you.

Congratulations on two beautiful scarves!
