Oh, birkinmary, this is an incredible video! I love the way you zoomed in on the scarf details. I don't know the Ledoux scarves very well (I've just bought my first, inspired by this week's theme) but after watching your tribute, I feel as though I've taken an entire college course in his work!

And Bach is the perfect accompaniment.

Thank you for the visual and auditory treat!

Beyond fabulous, birkinmary!

So glad you liked my clip Elaine, you should pay attention to Ledoux designs, he was a real master illustrator.

What a wonderful video birkinmary, just the eye/ear candy I needed after a long day! Thank you for sharing your extraordinary Ledoux collection.

Swooning here birkinmary; I know Trois Mousquetaires is one of the grail of grails, but I'm very much drawn to this cw of Marine a Rames :love eyes:

I'm glad you enjoyed my video, textile girl, it was meant to bring to life the marvelous details of these designs. La Marine a Rames ties beautifully, btw.

This was wonderful! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and collection. xo

Thank you Jan!

BirkinMary, you are the best! You've really brought to life these adorable historical scenes. Molière and several others have joined my wish list!!! Thank you so much.

Thank you Momasaurus, you've got an eye for scarves! Moliere (Comedie Francaise) is one of the best ever.

Ooooohhhhh, BM, you have my grail Arrière main! What a glorious collection. Thank you for sharing! Do you also have Écuries? I will try and post some tomorrow.

L'Arriere Main was one of my grails too, Maedi, I've got the brown bordered, it's stunning. I don't have an Ecuries, I don't know why, lol!

Thank you for the marvellous [ literally] photos and insight into these rare designs. Your trio here are beautiful .
Poor me with no Adobe flash can't watch your film , something to stir me into visiting Apple store for help...

Thank you frou frou, I'm sorry you can't watch the video, pm if you like to have the complete link to YouTube.

Amazing birkinmary...what a treat to watch while sipping my Sunday morning coffee, thank you!

Thank you Bova, it makes me very happy to imagine you having your morning coffee while watching my video.

Beautiful collection! Thank you!

Thank you CanuckBagLover! It's a pleasure to share my collection with you all.

Absolutely Amazing BM! Holy Camole!

thank you sparklelisab!

Bkm - thank you for the delightful video showcasing all your Ledoux gems. No one tops those vintage silks for sure, though perhaps Croisette is close behind!

Thank you Lanit, this is not about quantity, as you know, it takes many hours of research and years of dedication to get a collection like this.

Let me share, again, the archaival pic of my Hermès Sports. I need to authenticate my pic.
I appreciate all of your compliments and I am so glad!
I will try to take another pics!

As always, beautiful autumn collection, Croisette!

Loving everyone's autumn colors! I can't always contribute due to my limited and humble collection but here is my scarf for this week -
Fantaisies Indiennes. Was given to me by my hubs and it is the most treasured scarf in my collection.

I love FI, magdalinka, this color way is amazing, I've got the same in mousse.

This counts as earth colours, right? Me mum wearing her GrisGris.

Oh Seton, what a super stylish mom you have!!!

Aloha scarf buddies!
I am on the Big Island this week, so its archive pix from me:
First of all a couple of fall color pix from N. Calif :
Japanese Maple and Ginko :
Then followed by a couple of pix of my most autumnal scarf, Mythes et Metamorphoses

Love it, scarf1, Mythes et Metamorphoses is a DH's favorite.

Even I have a little something for this week! (So sorry I forgot to put eyeliner on before I took the pic! Bleh!)

ALphabet III Twilly as a tie.

It's always a pleasure to see a twilly in action, good job bunnycat!

Happy fall with my perspective cavaliere!View attachment 2796215

Maybe not traditionally autumn colors, but the brown oak leaves and gold queen anne's lace make me think it is fall

Wow Florasun, what a beautiful array of earthy colored scarves, all of the beautiful, difficult to say which one I'd choose!

I am late again to theme week but don't think anybody has posted these. Two of my favorite LeDoux designs: Attelage en Arbalete and Ecuries. I think Ecuries is from 1947 - it seems so modern to me - a testimony to a timeless design.:smile1:

Hi Maedi, you must have the largest equestrian collection! Love Attelage, one of my very favorites!

I wore B et GG today. I 'm twin on Croisette, a sister of seton's mother.
I am not tall so I make the cowboy knot small.

Cousin with me too, cherryblossum! congratulations.

Ha ha! I answered to MYH regarding the uploading problem, then got the message "you must login to upload" (I never log out on my phone).
Anyway, here is my Mythologies. I tried to make an imperfect basic bias fold, and the result is completely different!

This is an inspired idea and a good way to tie. beautiful scarf.

A little bit like fall: C'est la fete. :smile1:

I am diggin' this more edgy vibe from you, GF! :smile1:

Such a gorgeous masterpiece, seton! It is by Dumas, right?

 Yah, u know I be a PhD hoor.

I think this qualifies as a fall colorway...my MetM worn yesterday in a friendship knot.

this way shows the beautiful corners wonderfully

I love the fall foliage when there is still lots of green to set off the orange and red. Here's my front yard, and my Instruction du Roy. I even put on lipstick for you all (you know I am lazy about that!) :smile1:

Thank you for wearing lipstick for the action pic, moma, you should do it more often, it flatters you so much!

Here is my contribution - inspired by others. ZP (which I'ven known has been shown before) and a picture of a tree across the street viewed from my bedroom window. I've tried to capture the yellow/golds of the leaves and the scarf. I love these old trees. Sadly in my area of town there aren't many and we lost several to a new condo development up the street, New spindly trees have been replanted but I doubt they will ever fully mature (but I digress)...

Love it CanuckBaglover!

Rather than trot out photos of Tourbillon, I thought some fall colored Astrologie gavroches would be fun
I just love the copper color hardware on the one , versus the gold on the other

I love gavroches, they are so fun and easy to wear, aren't they marietouchet?

Thanks all for your suggestions about my image upload problems. Croisette suggested I just keep trying and since I just had luck posting an image on another thread, I thought I would try my luck right now and post my autumn scarves. I think I'm supposed to be a "winter" on the color palette so have no idea why I have so many "fall" scarves. Maybe I have been buying the wrong cws all this time????yikes!

And thx Melora i restarted my phone and it seems to have helped!

Wow, MYH, what an incredible photo!

A little bit like fall: C'est la fete. :smile1:

Maedi, twins again! if we ever meet each other we should talk before about which one we're going to wear, otherwise, I'm sure we might take the same scarf!

Today I'm wearing "Traité des armes" in hunter, brown, and eggplant. Still messing around with the tie.

I am another one of those "winter" people who can't resist the olives and burnt orange colors of fall that don't bring out the absolute best in my coloring. But a black shirt solves many problems, I hope!
Chic and sporty, moma!

Bova, you're wearing DH's favorite scarf, this cw is stunning on you and you tied it beautifully.

Sous le Cedre. I was lucky enough to snap it up on evilbay recently. Here is the entire scarf and a close up of the beautiful tree. And a mod shot from the archives!

MYH, Sous le Cedre is such a whimsical, fascinating scarf, I'm always looking for it.

And a long hunted black PLUMES

Ooooh Croisette! I believe you, this one must have been difficult indeed. Congratulations, it's a gem.

Great vintage scarf, moma, is it in good condition?

One of my favorite autumn color combinations is Purple and Gold.

Amazing combination of colors, sparklelisab.

Oooh, cwap. I was able to multiquote for all of one post. Sigh.

momasaur - an elegant knot for an elegant scarf

Croisette - twins on the black Plumes. I didnt think I was ever gonna be ur twin on ur numerous Plumes . . . and I have 3 GMs.
Your TR pic is esp. wonderful since it looks like u are bowing as u are showing it off. :smile1:

Sparkle - BOTH of the pix u showed are quite beautiful.
