I think this is my only Ledoux, but it's a favorite in my drawer: a PM cashmere L'Hiver en Poste from back in the (IMO) good old days of the rolled hem. This one ties so beautifully. I think my favorite part is the tiny little white polka-dots of snow falling at the top border.
I'm of an age and have decided that it's all in the mind and attitude . You wear this beautiful scarf elegantly in a way that a very young woman couldn't do if she tried . I do sometimes feel that the silks need to be roughed up with something edgy ,so I stick on a pair of Converse or Palladium canvas shoes or a leather jacket.
Dmitri Rybaltchenko's version of Ledoux's Springs - New Springs. Archive pics of dubious quality, but it's the only vaguely Ledoux scarf at the moment.Should go shopping!
Ding, ding, ding, we have a winner ladies and gentlemen! This. Sooooo well said frou frou!(I wish 'Gabrielle' looked as good on you as on me, LOL!)
Thanks sweet textilegirl.
I seem to remember that you have lips to rival those of lovely Lanit , so I think you will rock Gabrielle.
Anyway, I've never forgiven you for looking so fabulous in that much coveted H poncho which makes me look like I'm wearing a sack
About to send this but had to edit that I was about to post Proues too...AND I've just booked to go to the new William Morris exhibition .I think I might be tuned in to your channel LOL
I thought that I would post a few Ledoux, the beige Napoleon is from 1963, the pink from 1985
