I thought that I would post a few Ledoux, the beige Napoleon is from 1963, the pink from 1985

Dear Elaine, I' m also the member of the zebra club. I' m the identical twin of Croisette and Florasun on ZP silk twill, and the sister of Croisette, Florasun and momasaurus on silk twill, and the identical twin of chestnutty on CSGM shawl and the siter of Croisette on CSGM..........

Wow, I would hate to have to draw our family tree...:D

I think this is my only Ledoux, but it's a favorite in my drawer: a PM cashmere L'Hiver en Poste from back in the (IMO) good old days of the rolled hem. This one ties so beautifully. I think my favorite part is the tiny little white polka-dots of snow falling at the top border.

love that little 'snow' detail calexandre, beautiful PMCS!

Finally back home to play with my scarves.

I know I added a few ages by wearing a scarf this way, but gosh the scarf is too pretty to tie away in bias...

Isn't she so pretty?

I had to read this twice to catch your meaning Chestnutty, and I don't think this 'ages' you at all! As we're learning thanks to MYH's useful thread, it's all in how you carry it, not the particular knot/look. Just my two cents! :hugs: Oh yeah, the scarf ain't bad either, LOL!

I'm of an age and have decided that it's all in the mind and attitude . You wear this beautiful scarf elegantly in a way that a very young woman couldn't do if she tried . I do sometimes feel that the silks need to be roughed up with something edgy ,so I stick on a pair of Converse or Palladium canvas shoes or a leather jacket.

Ding, ding, ding, we have a winner ladies and gentlemen! This. Sooooo well said frou frou! :hugs: (I wish 'Gabrielle' looked as good on you as on me, LOL!)

This is an old Proues for Ledoux week; the scarf is deliciously supple, and unlike a newer 90cm which can be really bulky, it ties up around the neck with minimal excess fabric. I suppose that's an argument for wearing the heck out of our scarves, then they will be drape-y and soft like butter! Kinda messy, but it was a dream around my neck....

Thanks sweet textilegirl.

I seem to remember that you have lips to rival those of lovely Lanit , so I think you will rock Gabrielle.
Anyway, I've never forgiven you for looking so fabulous in that much coveted H poncho which makes me look like I'm wearing a sack :graucho:

About to send this but had to edit that I was about to post Proues too...AND I've just booked to go to the new William Morris exhibition .I think I might be tuned in to your channel LOL

Wait, what's that you say? New Morris exhibition?....and yes, it's 'sack' weather here :graucho: But I digress, c'mon, let's see that Proues, an underrated design IMO.....

This starts to feel like a Napoléon week (do you think we've seen all existing cw?), and I almost feel sorry to interrupt with a non-Napoléon scarf ;) But it's my only Ledoux -and my most recent scarf. I have to thank Esmeralda for showing me the robee knot, a new favorite! It allows to show light blue and white on a scarf that's mostly dark blue.
Cosmos, Air France edition.
