Oh, 27leborse, you are feeding my mania for La Comédie Italienne. This is so nice!!!

This design is one of my favorites too, so I completely understand your mania! I also have a later issue in white/red/black but this white/green/pink colorway is particularly lovely and surprisingly complimentary when worn. I hope you are able to locate one soon!

Lanit, sparkle, Anfang, Vitamin H - Thank you guys for the fashion rescue comment and the love for Comedie Italienne.

27leborse - The shade of purple is so very gorgeous!.

momasaurus - If you love Comedie Italienne, look on eBay. It's not too rare, I always find at least one of eBay for about $450 or less because it has been issued at least 3 times (the latest issue was in the 90's). The only thing though, is that if you look for earlier issues, they are jacquard AND vintage scarves, it will be almost impossible to find them in flawless condition. I'll say at least some pulls are the norm, and stains as well as it has a white background and scarf back at that time was not coated with fabric chemicals as modern scarves. If you can stand stains, there's a blue white one on eBay now. Stains and pulls I can stand, but I can't stand color bleed, and unfortunately a lot of vintage scarves have this issue due to old unstable dyes.

Thanks for the compliment, Chestnutty. The purple in this Amours is fabulous and with the green it is a dream for me to wear. Add in the lovely jaquard and it's one of my all-time favorites!

27leborse, I am so happy that you shared these gorgeous silks. The Kermit Oliver silks are just breathtaking, especially Les Cheyennes. This has unbelievable detail. I love the dog and the buffalo in the background. Truly a piece of art.

Yes, Kermit Oliver's scarves are always a treasure trove of detail. I especially love his more earthy colorways, as they are easier for me to wear.

Thanks for your encouragement, Vitamin H! I'm more than happy to share more green silks but can't figure out how to downsize photos to combine multiple photos in one post.
